During Austen Kroll’s first season on Southern Charm, he was a golden boy. He was touted as a Shep Rose 2.0, but a better more respectful version. That image is out the window thanks to that threesome video they make sure to play in every episode this season. Last season, his positive image started to disintegrate when ex-girlfriend Chelsea Meissner started to dish on their relationship. Among other things, she revealed that she paid the bill for pretty much everything.
The viewers started to feel a little bad for Austen when his girlfriend Madison LeCroy slid into Danni Baird’s then-boyfriend’s DM’s (via a third party). Then, he fell from grace again when Chelsea told Shep that Austen was talking shit behind her back.
Shep refers to Madison as “diabolical” in a conversation with Craig Conover on tonight’s Southern Charm episode. Why? Because Madison is the one who showed Chelsea screenshots of Austen talking shit about her. Why would she do that? Oh, right, to become a cast member on Southern Charm. Duh.
Shep muses, “That is such a betrayal by Madison to send a private message between you and your boyfriend.” Craig wonders, “I don’t know what’s worse: cheating on you or doing something like that.” Definitely the cheating.
Meanwhile, Austen’s dad asks if he sabotages his relationships. Again, duh.

Kathryn Dennis will never be outdone when it comes to ex drama. She cries to Craig about Thomas Ravenel’s impending prison sentence. She says, “If he goes to jail, I’ll be a single mom. It’s just like overwhelming.”
In lighter news, Craig tricks the cast into attending a party that is really an attempt to get free labor for his sewing endeavors. That’s when Chelsea confronts Austen for talking about her. Not only that, but Kathryn and Danni get into a screaming match. I have a feeling that they didn’t get much sewing done at this party.
Kathryn yells, “I’ve been a great f*cking friend to you. F*ck off right now. I’m not even talking to you.” Danni responds with “You’re a f*cking joke right now. Sorry.” Damn. These two arguing was definitely unexpected. Not after the last episode, obviously, but before this season, no one could have predicted it.
