It seems like Luann de Lesseps life is on the upswing. Her life is cabaret-based, as Real House of New York viewers cannot escape know. Luann has been “on display” (shout out to RHONJ’s Melissa Gorga) and has been enjoying soaking up the limelight.
This cabaret queen has had a tough couple of years. Luann completed her probation following her arrest on Dec. 24, 2017 in Palm Beach. The RHONY star was charged with several counts, including disorderly intoxication and resisting arrest with violence.
In the summer of 2018, Luann returned to rehab for a second time after an intervention from friends including RHONY bestie Bethenny Frankel. Page Six reported on July 11, 2018 that Luann had been dating her agent, Rich Super “for a few weeks.” Rich also reportedly filed for divorce from his wife around the same time. So I guess Rich was super married at the time. He began his job as Luann’s agent when she started her cabaret show “The Countess and Friends.” Sometime around when Luann went to rehab, the pair split up.
But is love better the second time around? Luann told TMZ in October that she was once again dating Rich. “Well, listen, ahh… you know when there’s a connection, there’s a connection. He’s my agent, and we’re, you know, just killing it on our cabaret tour,” Luann stated. “And we’re having the best time, and ahh…he’s the best. He’s the best agent in Hollywood. I’m a very lucky girl.” Luann certainly isn’t afraid of mixing cabaret business with pleasure.

In an interview with Entertainment Tonight, Luann revealed that she and Rich have been secretly dating for much longer. Nearly two years! They have been an item since Luann took #CountessandFriends on the road. Damn Luann– you sly little fox! “I just wasn’t sure where it was going, so I didn’t really talk about. He’s very supportive and he’s just a great touring agent,” Luann explained. “So he’s a great guy and I’m lucky.
The couple do have a long-distance relationship since Rich works on the West Coast, and Luann is a New York Housewife, but the duo is making it work. “It’s a bit of a back and forth, but we’re dating and it’s really nice. I’m traveling a lot, with the cabaret shows, so it’s not always easy, but I think, at least, your agent gets it because he’s the one who booked it,” Luann said.

Luann dodged Rich’s romantic overtures for nearly five months before their first date. The cabaret star remarked, “Believe me, it wasn’t easy, I was like, ‘No, that’s not happening,’ and then, he just wore me out … and then it just turned into a really great working relationship, as well as a romantic one.” Rich has even won over Luann’s adult kids, Victoria de Lesseps and Noel de Lesseps.
Luann doesn’t have the best track record in picking husbands. In 2017, Luann split from her second husband, Tom D’Agostino after seven months. So, is the RHONY star hearing wedding bells already? “Listen, I never say never. I’m a hopeless romantic, I was married twice already and they say, three times’ a charm, so you know, who knows? I’m not in a big hurry to do anything right now, I’m just enjoying the moment … I’m enjoying the relationship,” Luann shared.

RHONY viewers will not have the chance to dissect and discuss meet Rich on the upcoming Season 12, but I am sure that we will hear all about him.
