Life may be a cabaret for Real Housewives of New York star Luann de Lesseps, but that may be leading her down the wrong path. Back in December of 2017, Luann was arrested in Palm Beach, Florida on charges of disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest with violence, crimes against a person, and battery on an officer. Luann was found in someone else’s hotel room and refused to leave. This was her first time back in Palm Beach since her marriage to husband Tom D’Agostino. The duo called it quits after seven months, and tons of cheating allegations.
Then, Luann was sued by her two children and her ex-husband Count Alexandre de Lesseps for violating a divorce agreement. The family’s home in Bridgehampton was sold for $8 million dollars. Luann purchased a house in Sag Harbor for $3.1 million dollars. Luann was supposed to take half of the money from the Bridgehampton sale and create a trust for her children, Victoria de Lesseps and Noel de Lesseps. Unfortunately, she never did.
It has been a hard knock life for Luann de Lesseps lately. No one will ever forget the Real Housewives of New York star’s arrest Christmas Eve 2017 in Palm Beach. A wild evening that resulted in charges of battery on an officer, disorderly intoxication, resisting arrest with violence and crimes against a person. A one-woman game of thrones!
Luann also had legal troubles closer to home. Call it Game of Homes! Luann was being sued by her ex-husband Count Alexandre de Lesseps for allegedly violating a divorce agreement and stealing from their children Victoria de Lesseps and Noel de Lesseps. The suit arose from a sale of the family’s home in Bridgehampton for $8 million dollars and the star’s purchase of a smaller house in Sag Harbor for $3.1 million. As per the divorce decree, Luann was to set up a trust for the children funded from half of the Bridgehampton sale. Apparently, she never did.
When it comes to Real Housewives comebacks, Luann de Lesseps is up there with the best of them. After a short marriage, drunken arrest, rehab stint, a lawsuit from her ex-husband Alex de Lesseps and children Victoria de Lesseps and Noel de Lesseps, and second rehab stint, Luann is back on stage for her cabaret show Countess and Friends.
Not only that, but now Luann is joking about her recent hard times- the rehab stint and the lawsuit from her own family members- in her cabaret act.
Despite celebrating six months of sobriety earlier this month, Luann de Lesseps has decided to check back into rehab.
Friends and sources say that the lawsuit from her ex-husband and children over a violation of her divorce agreement pushed Luann over the edge. Luann will also miss the Real Housewives Of New York reunion filming to remain in treatment. Priorities, from a housewife? Now I really am shocked!
It’s not often I can say “shocking news” when it comes to a reality star, but this year Luann de Lesseps is definitely making the best headlines. In the most interesting way. The latest is that Luann is being sued by her ex husband and her children for allegedly violating divorce agreement over the kids’ trust funds.
Luann and Count Alexandre divorced in 2009, and as part of the split she got possession of their Bridgehamptons home. Luann subsequently sold the home for $8 million to purchase a smaller house in Sag Harbor for $3.1 million. It always seemed like Luann had kept her finances together and accepted that she’s no longer living an Uber-wealthy lifestyle (unlike some of her fellow divorced Real Housewives Of New York stars. Ahem… Sonja!). Until now.

Teen Mom star Chelsea Houska and former Orange County Housewife Meghan Edmonds showed off their baby bumps. Teen Moms Jade Cline and Kayla Sessler shared photos playing with their babies outside.
That last episode of Real Housewives of New York was just awkward to watch. It was clear that Dorinda Medley had a genuine interest in Bethenny Frankel’s disaster relief work. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t a good look when she drank to the point of slurring at dinner with Bethenny’s team. She was the only cast member that Bethenny included and the trip wasn’t off to a great start.
During other scenes in the episode, post-divorce Luann de Lesseps continued to move forward from her short-lived marriage with Tom D’Agostino. This show has been “about Tom” for years, so it might have been a relief for the spotlight to be on Dorinda during the episode.
