Watch What Happens Live Renewed Through 2021

This has been a busy 2019 for Bravo host Andy Cohen. In December of 2018, the Watch What Happens Live host made a very special announcement. Andy shared that he was going to become a father while several “OG” Housewives, including Ramona Singer, Teresa Giudice, Kyle Richards, Vicki Gunvalson, and NeNe Leakes, were chatting in the WWHL clubhouse. I just loved that reveal!

In fact, Andy even moved Watch What Happens Live from New York City to Los Angeles for four weeks while he prepared for the birth of his son via surrogate. This was only the third time that the talk show had filmed in Los Angeles.

Andy posted a precious black and white photograph to Instagram on February 4 to announce his son’s arrival. “WOW! This is my son,

Benjamin Allen Cohen. He is 9 lbs 2 ounces!! 20 inches !! Born at 6:35 pm, PT. He is named after my grandfather Ben Allen. I’m in love. And speechless,” Andy wrote.

Now Andy has received some fantastic news about his other baby: Watch What Happens Live. The late-night talk show has been renewed through 2021. In a statement to Bravo’s The Daily Dish on December 10, Andy confirmed the news.  “I keep waiting to stop having fun – or run out of guests, stories or booze; but the party rolls on and I couldn’t be more excited!” the host said. In June, WWHL celebrated 10 years on the air.

In November, BravoCon brought together Bravolebrities in spectacular fashion. The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce also announced that Andy will have his very own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. How exciting!

Andy told The Daily Dish in 2016 that he really does love his gig hosting and executive producing WWHL. “I will keep doing Watch What Happens Live for as long as I can. I mean there are times when I’m tired or I’m over it, but mainly I’m very into it. I absolutely love it,” Andy said. “I think I have the greatest job in TV. I get to be myself. I get to have fun. I mean, it’s great.” In 2015, Andy launched his own SiriusXM station, Radio Andy. This man does love to chat.

We can all look forward to more “Plead the Fifth” interrogations, Shot-Ski fun, and shady games in our WWHL future. Congratulations and Mazel, Andy!
