Lisa Vanderpump’s Foundation Vanderpump Dogs Is Being Sued For Sexual Harassment

First, Lisa Vanderpump and Ken Todd get sued by a disgruntled employee for allegedly failing to pay servers’ wages at their bars and restaurants. Now, there’s even more legal drama.

Their foundation Vanderpump Dogs has been hit with a lawsuit for sexual harassment and wrongful termination from a former employee.

Page Six reports that former employee Damiana Guzman is the person pressing charges against the foundation.

Damiana was a dog groomer for two months before she resigned in July 2019 “because of the intolerable working conditions created by her manager, Martin Duarte, and his superiors.”

She claimed that her former manager “mocked [her] by calling her things such as a ‘skinny no-ass fool,’ and a ‘flat-ass bitch.’ He also told [her] that he didn’t know how her girlfriend could stand to be with her because she had no ass.”

It allegedly got even worse though. Damiana alleged that the manager told her “he could turn her straight.”

Diamana claimed, “not a day went by where Duarte didn’t make a comment about [her] body, her sexual preference, or his sexual prowess.” She complained to he higher-ups, but there was no action taken and Damiana resigned.

Lisa A “close friend” of Lisa’s told Page Six, “It’s a shame that someone who worked for the foundation for less than 90 days would choose to sue or try to malign an organization whose sole purpose is dedicated to being a voice for the voiceless. Working to resolve unnecessary cases like this just takes away from being able to save more lives.”
