We just met Real Housewives of Atlanta newbie Drew Sidora on the show, and we already know a lot about her. Drew joined RHOA along with LaToya Ali after NeNe Leake’s departure. She is also close friends with Kandi Burruss.
Drew is an actress and has appeared on That’s So Raven and The Game. She also starred in a television movie titled CrazySexyCool: The TLC Story. She has a fresh energy that is a welcome addition to the other Atlanta peaches.
Cynthia Bailey certainly took a shine to Drew. “And she’s an amazing lady, she has a great family. … I think Drew is also an amazing addition to the show,” Cynthia said. Drew even scored an invite to Cynthia’s
super-spreader event wedding to Mike Hill in October.
RHOA viewers saw Drew confront her husband, Ralph Pittman, after he disappeared for three days after a fight. And Drew had no idea where he went. Excuse me…what? Ralph also has hidden cameras in the home, and Drew accused him of spying on her. Nope–not creepy at all. Drew, you may as well draw up those divorce documents now.
People reported that Drew was interviewed recently on Kandi’s YouTube series Speak on It, and she alleged that she was once body shamed by rapper Nicki Minaj. Worse yet, it was just months after Drew had given birth.

Drew was auditioning for an ABC Family sitcom that was based on Nicki’s childhood. Drew recalled being told, “Girl, you don’t look how you looked in TLC.” Drew portrayed T-Boz in the 2013 movie.
“So, I was up for an ABC family series, a Nicki Minaj pilot. And Nicki herself said that,” Drew stated. “She said I don’t look how I looked when I played T-Boz. I was like, ‘Nicki!’ It was like, all these ABC execs around but I had gone through about five rounds. And she really, really liked me.”
Drew remarked, “And then she said that in front of all of these [executives]. It is was it is. I was like, ‘Look, I just had a baby.’ I think at the time my baby was like 3 months old, I was literally still breastfeeding.” Come on now–cut a new mom some slack!
Drew decided to accept Nicki’s comments as “advice” and “constructive criticism” to start her weight loss plan. I would have dissolved in a puddle of tears, but that’s just me.
The actress explained, “What I took away was, ‘Girl, get your life together. Get back in the gym. You can’t keep blaming it on the baby and get to work.’ Like, yes, I had a baby, let’s not body shame, but it did give me that motivation,” Drew shared.
“So I turned it into lemonade like let’s get in the gym and really get my career back. So, I’ve been on a journey of weight loss and just getting back to good health,” Drew added.
