StripperGate is FINALLY here. After months of speculation about what’s going to go down, we are finally close to some answers. This has been a slow and rocky season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, so the drama is welcomed. Anything that’s able to spice up this dry season sounds good right about now. Cynthia Bailey has no idea what she’s in store for with this bachelorette party.
Kandi Burruss is the perfect person to throw this type of event too. She always knows how to have a good time, and you know it’s going to get freaky. The question looming over everything though is just how freaky will things get? What is the limit for these ladies? How far is too far? Who is going to be caught with their pants down with a stripper? It’s time to let him out of his box. RELEASE BOLO.
It’s a tall task, but I promise we can get through this season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. The knowledge that StripperGate is around the corner is the only thing making this bearable. We know it’s going to cause an uproar within the group, but getting to that point is like watching paint dry. How can there be nine episodes so far this season where literally nothing ever happens?
Kenya Moore is making a run for the worst host of all time, and she doesn’t even care. These women have had enough of the double standards and hypocrisy from Ms. Twirl. Everyone’s irritated with her, and it’s only the second night. Marlo Hampton has finally had enough of the shady actions directed toward her, and she’s confronting the wicked witch of the ATL. Maybe, just MAYBE this will give us the fireworks we desperately deserve to watch.
Truth be told there isn’t much happening on Real Housewives of Atlanta this season, other than LaToya Ali doing the most, even though she’s just a part-time cast member. Meanwhile, full-time Housewife Drew Sidora only just started filming group scenes. Why is she a Housewife again? It’s certainly not for the hair, makeup, or fashions. What is she bringing to the table? Other than some yawn-inducing solo scenes and some shade from Kenya Moore.
During the last episode, the two newbies got into a squabble
for camera time. LaToya was extremely passive aggressive buying Drew a new wig. Drew returned the favor by giving her a signed photograph of herself, categorizing LaToya as a “fan.” And, LaToya continued to run her mouth on Twitter, while she was live-tweeting the episode.
Most of the time, these Bravo cast trips appear to be anything but fun. Sure, they’re getting paid to film and they’re getting a lot for free, but the “vacations” just seem so dramatic.
In addition to all of that, the Real Housewives of Atlanta cast seemed to be starving during the last episode. While they were all waiting for a chef to finish roasting a pig, Kenya ordered an individual meal for herself. Obviously, this bothered the cast members, who were already annoyed with Kenya before they even got to South Carolina. And, don’t even get me started on that bootleg attempt at a murder mystery.
Drew Sidora joined Real Housewives of Atlanta for Season 13, and she is a solid addition to the cast. Drew has marital issues with her husband, Ralph Pittman. Ralph disappeared for three days with no communication. Drew needs a GPS tracker for her husband.
Drew is also dealing with shade from RHOA co-star Kenya Moore, and Kenya’s newbie mini-me, LaToya Ali. Kenya and LaToya insulted one of Drew’s wigs, and Kenya called Drew “a stray.” Ouch!
For the FIRST time this season all of the wives and friends will be together. Full group scenes are coming on this episode of The Real Housewives of Atlanta. It may have taken eight episodes, but the moment’s finally here. Kenya Moore set the tone for the trip by arriving on a private jet and bringing her daughter. SHADY!
This will also be the first time Drew Sidora sees LaToya Ali since learning how she shaded her wig. In LaToya’s defense, the wig was a whole mess, but why is she spending so much energy shading her? They’ve met a total of one time, but LaToya couldn’t help herself. She’s a mini Kenya, and she might be just doing her mentor’s bidding by coming for Drew. What’s going to happen when Drew’s able to confront the insults face to face?
Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kenya Moore is about to experience all sorts of drama stemming from the girls’ trip to Charleston. In the most recent episode of RHOA, Kenya flew herself, her baby daughter Brooklyn Daly, a nanny, and new bestie LaToya Ali on a private jet.
The rest of the ladies took a bus with no air conditioning. Kandi Burruss and Porsha Williams were plenty steamed when they found out that Kenya brought her baby along. Meanwhile, Kenya is dealing with marital strife.
Someone please tell the producers of The Real Housewives of Atlanta to get their act together. Has there ever been a season of Atlanta this boring before? They’re even cutting out dramatic scenes that they advertised? What’s up with that? We all know the women are going on a trip to Charleston, so the potential for drama is there. Group scenes are key to a successful season, and this season has been lacking in that. FINALLY, the group will be all together.
With the entire group finally about to be in the same place, the true dynamics can finally begin. There’s been a few little side feuds so far, but now allegiances will be formed. Sides will be chosen. Kenya Moore is trying her hardest to stir the pot, but nobody is taking the bait. The biggest thing looming within the group is the upcoming StripperGate drama. In what ways will an alleged night with the stripper change the course of this season?
