Why Bravo Shouldn’t Cancel Vanderpump Rules After Season 11

Everyone’s favorite group of West Hollywood SUR-vers have already filmed Season 11. With multiple fans feeling like Bravo could cancel Vanderpump Rules, some are disappointed with the idea of the show ending. Even though a spin-off has already been announced, followers want more. The series had a unique angle as it was one of Bravo’s first shows to showcase a younger group. While the network is looking to throw in the towel, fans aren’t ready to see it go just yet.

The Vanderpump Rules spin-off is said to be starring Jax Taylor, Brittany Cartwright, and Kristen Doute. The new series is set to show the OGs hanging up their wild ways as they welcome children and new partners into their world. Viewers got word that the new show has already started filming as of July. But just because a new show is on the way doesn’t mean fans are ready for Bravo to cancel Vanderpump Rules.

The Story Isn’t Over

Season 11 is set to cover the aftermath of Scandoval. The upcoming episodes will show Tom Sandoval on a redemption path as he tries his best to win back his friend group. However, we highly doubt all of Tom’s problems will be fixed by the time the season is over.

It would be nice to see how he manipulates the SUR waters after the cameras have been put down, especially since he is rumored to already be back out on the town dating.

Since the 2020 worldwide pandemic, Vanderpump Rules was given new life. A whole new generation was able to binge the series thanks to multiple lockdowns. When the show first premiered in 2013, it was a gift that kept on giving thanks to an incestual group of friends who couldn’t keep their hands off one another. The cameras caught the everyday lives of the depthless group who somehow were as good as gold with viewers.

Vanderpump Rules easily resonates with viewers since most have been involved in a circle of friends just like the stars. Everyone was pretty, pretty dumb, and dramatic. With ratings back up thanks to the fallout of Tom and Rachel Leviss, the network has a real chance of cashing in on new viewers’ revived interest.

The Show Has More To Offer Than SUR

As Vanderpump Rules grew, so did the eateries you could visit. Out of the fire came TomTom, PUMP, Schwartz & Sandy’s, and Something About Her. It would be an absolute shame for cameras to be put down and not give fans the drama that is bound to come from new eateries opening.

Multiple fights have occurred at SUR, and TomTom seems poised to take over the role. Continuing the show following these storylines would promise the business income and the viewers even more drama. Also, it doesn’t make sense to keep focusing on SUR since almost none of the cast even works there anymore.

Bravo Should Use Season 11 as a Reset

Many viewers have criticized the show’s past few seasons, claiming it is a bit stagnant. But Vanderpump Rules is already on a new path. Followers have grown up with the OG cast and are very invested in their lives. Continuing the series could feature, for example, how well Katie Maloney is doing now that she is single and thriving. Like us mere mortals, it is clear that everyone’s lives are changing, and keeping the series going could really capitalize on the evolution.

The Vanderpump Rules story is still very much worth telling, even though relationships have clearly changed. There has been a plethora of good news, even among the flaming garbage heap that is Tom. Scheana Shay finally found lasting love with Brock Davies, Ariana Madix is taking over the world, and there is still a lot to see with all the crew’s new business ventures. If Bravo decides to not cancel Vanderpump Rules I don’t think they will be disappointed since plenty of real-life drama is still ready to be played out.
