James Kennedy Excited to See Jax Taylor on The Valley, Said Jax Is ‘Stoked’

Who knew that Scandoval would reinvigorate the careers of some Vanderpump Rules alums? Jax Taylor, his wife Brittany Cartwright, and Kristen Doute are part of the Pump Rules spinoff, The Valley. Prepare to be disappointed if you were expecting the old version of Jax. “The old Jax is not around. I got a new guy here that I want to put back on TV [who] I think that people will enjoy,” Jax said. And one of his former VPR co-stars, James Kennedy, is already thrilled about it.

During an appearance on Watch What Happens Live, James answered fan questions. “James, what do you think of Jax coming back on TV with The Valley? And what’s your relationship like with him now?” A fan asked. “Good question,” host Andy Cohen said.

“It’s good. It’s good. You know, I’m excited for him, he seems like stoked. And ah…Yeah. Yeah. No, it’s good,” James stated. “You know we’re both Valley boys now, you know what I mean? He lives 10 minutes away, Jaxy boy. You know I’m happy for him,” he added. “It’s great!”

James is also enjoying life right now. He bought a house, and his girlfriend, Ally Lewber, moved in with her cat, Mr. Banks. James also adopted the dog that he used to share with his ex-fiancée, Rachel Leviss. He changed the pup’s name to Hippie from Graham Cracker.

Meanwhile, during Season 11 of Pump Rules, James faced off with Tom Sandoval. He asked Tom if he was sorry about “the betrayal.” However, not only was Tom not sorry, but he grabbed a history book. Tom accused James of doing the same thing with Tom’s ex, Kristen, about a decade earlier.

The Valley is set to premiere in the spring of 2024, while Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules continues Tuesdays at 8/7c on Bravo.

TELL US – ARE YOU SURPRISED THAT JAMES IS HAPPY FOR JAX? DO YOU THINK THEY WILL HANG OUT SINCE THEY LIVE NEAR EACH OTHER?
