Vanderpump Rules may be in its next era, but some of its former cast members are still hashing out old beefs. And that includes Lala Kent. Recently, Lala revealed that she misses filming with her former VPR co-stars.
At the messy Season 11 Pump Rules reunion, Lala attacked Katie Maloney for never confronting her friend and business partner, Ariana Madix, on camera. The argument led to the end of Lala and Katie’s friendship. While both ladies seemed fine with that result, Lala later shared that she did reach out to Katie. However, she never received a reply.
Katie Maloney earned some kind words from Lala
During a recent Amazon Live, Lala was asked which of her former VPR co-stars she “missed filming with most.” Lala responded right away, “The entire cast. It was such a special group of people. I had a wonderful time.”
However, Lala really enjoyed filming with Katie. “[With] her being my best friend, it didn’t feel like we were making a show. It just felt like we were hanging out and, ‘Oh, hi, there happens to be a camera,'” Lala explained. “Everything that the show would show, it was our everyday [life]. Even when cameras were down.” She added, “The back-and-forth and the dynamics were so authentic. I miss it so much. I really do.”
Meanwhile, Lala’s brother, Easton Burningham, who was manning the camera, also chimed in. “I also thought Katie. Because me and her would go out to the bar, here and there,” Easton stated. “I miss Katie. Katie was a good one.”
Welp, since the show has been rebooted with a new group of SURvers, there is zero chance that working together will bring Lala and Katie back together. For now, Katie seems eager to put her Pump Rules days behind her.
