Next Gen NYC star Ariana Biermann opened up about her relationship with her dad, Kroy Biermann. Kroy and Real Housewives of Atlanta alum Kim Zolciak are embroiled in a contentious divorce. As you may recall, the duo wed in 2011, and Kroy filed for divorce in August 2023 after a brief reconciliation.
Shortly after Kim and Kroy tied the knot, he adopted Ariana and her sister, Brielle Biermann. However, it seems that all the marital drama has taken a toll on this family.
Ariana and Kroy Biermann have “not spoken” amid his divorce
Ariana, who weathered a split from her co-star, Hudson McLeroy, in October 2025, was seemingly struggling to maintain a relationship with her father. “I tried, you know, for a while. I really wish him the best in healing during this time,” Ariana told US Weekly, “but I have not really spoken to him unless it’s asking him if I can see my siblings or something like that.”
Kroy was granted temporary custody of his four minor children with Kim. However, the dueling exes share joint legal custody of their children. According to Ariana, Kim will fight for custody of her children “literally [to] her very last breath. She is not going to ever back down.”
She added, “That’s why it’s been a freaking three-year process, or whatever we’re at now, and who knows what the road ahead … how much longer it’s going to be, totally.”
Meanwhile, Kim’s sister Brielle is also estranged from Kroy. In March 2026, she revealed that Kroy failed to wish her a happy birthday. With Brielle planning her wedding to Billy Seidl, hopefully, the family can come together and be respectful and peaceful for one day. Fingers crossed!
