Shannon Beador On The RHOC Reunion: “Episodes Two And Three Are Epic. Epic. EPIC.”

David and Shannon Beador turned to Facebook to share their thoughts on part one of the Real Housewives of Orange County reunion. (Warning: the chat is a live stream, where they answer questions from followers as they pop up, so there’s no flow to the chat.) In addition to the reunion, Shannon dished on where her friendships with Vicki Gunvalson, Heather Dubrow, Meghan King Edmonds, and Tamra Judge stand today.  

Shannon acknowledged that part one of the reunion wasn’t all that juicy, “The bottom line is, there was a lot of ground to cover, so you are going to see the most tame stuff [first]. Parts two and three of the reunion are going to be crazy.” A follower insinuated that Shannon, Heather, Meghan, and Tamra planned to ambush Vicki at the reunion. “There’s no planned ambush,” she insisted. “Everyone went in there saying their truth. When you see the reunion parts two and three you’re going to be blown away. It’s mind blowing.”

Will Shannon and David return to Real Housewives of Orange County next season? Shannon was quick to say yes. David said, “We’ll see what happens. I don’t know. It depends who’s on next season if we’re going to deal with that because it is hard to be honest for the whole season and then watch someone not be so honest.” Shannon agreed, adding, “It discredits our authenticity.”

Can Shannon and David forgive Vicki? “That’s a really tough question,” admitted Shannon. “You’ll have to watch parts two and three. It’s off the charts.” David added, “Somehow you have to have forgiveness. It is just hard to watch her. I find myself getting angry at her.”

A follower defended Vicki, saying she was just protecting someone she loved, to which David said, “She wasn’t protecting someone she loved – that is B.S. She was lying. She was lying to create a story line. And then she deflected everything.” Shannon said, “She pulled us in, then when we were questioning, we were nasty and disgusting.”

What did they think about Alexis Bellino‘s email to Tamra? “I don’t know her at all,” said Shannon. “I met her once and she asked me to leave her table. But it wasn’t a nice email that she sent to Tamra.”

Shannon said Briana “lays some stuff out” during the reunion. “It’s so bad for Briana – she has to tell the truth or she has to lie for her mom,” lamented David. “It’s ridiculous. It’s a horrible position to put your daughter in.” Shannon added, “It’s even worse when you call your daughter a shit stirrer.”

Why did Vicki and Brooks break up?

David: “That is for them to decide.” Shannon: “Good timing, though.” David: “Yes, it was. Deflection.” Brooks addressed the timing on E! News.

Have they seen Brooks since filming ended? No, but Shannon revealed that Brooks texted David after their Watch What Happens Live special, to say that he was proud of them for sharing their story. What would David do if he ran into Brooks now? “I’d probably shake his hand and wish him well.”

When asked how she could forgive Heather and Tamra after last season, Shannon said, “A lot of things were going on last season that I wasn’t aware of and that they weren’t aware of, and we all were able to at the beginning of this season sit down and figure out where we were all coming from. I am glad that I moved forward with Heather and Tamra – and Meghan.”

Has the show been a positive influence on David and Shannon‘s marriage? “I think it absolutely has changed us for the better,” gushed David. “I think it has made our relationship so much stronger. I was telling someone at the gym today that we tell each other that we love each other, like, a dozen times a day; before, we never did that.”

Shannon hinted that Vicki was not truthful when she told Andy she had only water and coffee – no drugs – before the reunion, “Stay tuned.” David added, “Vicki needs to take a break from the show.”

A follower said David and Shannon should have stood by Vicki – their friend – when everyone else turned on her. “You can’t stand by someone who’s lying,” said David. “We have caught Vicki in other lies. She lied last year, that I was hitting on her, said to Terry and Heather. She lied about that. That’s why Terry and Heather went after me at the reunion last year. Because Vicki was feeding them lies about me. It’s freaking bullshit.”

Random Thoughts – Vicki is a narcissist. Heather is loyal. Shannon is closest to Tamra – they talk every day. Vicki is not remorseful.

When asked why she believes Tamra is genuine, Shannon shared, “You guys see, like, two minutes of two hours. Tamra and I have done a lot of talking, and like I just said, we talk every single day.”

Shannon refused to rate her co-stars from best to worst, but she said, “We’re all good, except Vicki‘s at the bottom.” As for who she relates to from the other Real Housewives cities, she said, “I like Eileen Davidson, Camille Grammer, and Sonja Morgan.”
