Real Housewives of Potomac fans are still spinning from the news of Wendy Osefo’s arrest. And now Karamo Brown is weighing in on this chaos. And Wendy may want to cover her ears.
Wendy and her husband, Eddie Osefo, were arrested on October 9, 2025. Then, Wendy was charged with seven counts of felony insurance fraud and eight counts of conspiracy to commit insurance fraud. She was also slapped with a charge for lying to a police officer. Wendy and Eddie allegedly staged a burglary at their home. Then, they submitted an insurance claim for $450,000 in stolen handbags and jewelry.
Karamo Brown says he’s “used to stunt queens” talking about Wendy Osefo’s arrest
Recently, talk show host Karamo and RHOP star Tia Glover visited Watch What Happens Live. Host Andy Cohen asked Karamo for his reaction to Wendy’s arrest. And I don’t think that anyone was prepared for Karamo’s response.
“I’m just used to stunt queens in the gay community, so I was like, ‘Oh, this is a stunt.’ Okay, you pulled a stunt, girl. You was trying some insurance fraud, girl,” Karamo stated. “Okay, girl, you got caught. Girl, now go do the time.” He laughed while Andy looked shocked.
However, Karamo doubled down on his feelings about Wendy’s arrest. “Isn’t that what she did? That’s what she did, right? She pulled a stunt,” Karamo stated. “She said she didn’t have the ring, and then she had the ring, right?” He added, “That’s a stunt.”
When Wendy returned to social media after her arrest, she posted a photo and message of thanks to her fans. “Thank you for the outpouring of love, support, and prayers for myself and most importantly my family during this time,” Wendy wrote. Meanwhile, Wendy and her defense team are claiming that her arrest was “illegal” due to “defects in the charging document.”
