Every Real Housewives fan knows that elaborate beauty routines are a staple of many of the ladies’ lives. Over the years we have watched the women experiment with lasers, cryotherapy, acid peels, fillers and more. And the Housewives have probably injected enough Botox to fill a Beverly Hills swimming pool! When all the basic treatments are not enough to hold back the hands of time, fortunately, there are always the more heavy duty interventions-facelifts, eyelifts, rhinoplasty and chin implants have all been on the cosmetic menu for the cast members.
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Lisa Rinna has always been upfront that she wants to look her best for as long as she can. We have watched her undergo vitamin drips, facials, waxing, and infrared bed therapies. So, you might wonder, just how much does it cost to look like Lisa? She recently shared her skin care routine expenses-and it is safe to say that she spends a little more than the average American woman!
The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills has had one of the most interesting casts of any of the Housewife shows-from actual millionaires to poseurs and real-life actresses. Since the show began in 2010, 17 ladies have been cast as full-time Housewives. Two OG’s from Season 1 remain-Kyle Richards and Lisa Vanderpump (we will see what happens after this season, though)! And snarky Camille Grammer has been either a Friend of or Guest on every season but one after leaving as a full-time Housewife after Season 2.
This season, two other former Housewives are coming back for at least one appearance. And they happen to be two of the most talked about-and polarizing-cast members of any of the Housewife shows-former child star Kim Richards and volatile, often-acts-like-a-child Brandi Glanville. And current cast member Erika Jayne recently shared her thoughts about the return of Kim and Brandi.
Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is delivering big time this season. Not only is “puppy gate” still causing tons of drama, but Lisa Rinna is back to her pot-stirring ways. She tweeted a birthday message to co-star (and sparring partner) Lisa Vanderpump. It was a picture of a cupcake with some pills. Of course, Rinna was referencing her own joke “bag of pills.” Unfortunately, some fans thought that Rinna was referencing Lisa’s brother’s overdose death. Rinna said that she didn’t know that Lisa’s brother died from an overdose. That is so awkward.
But who is always in Rinna’s corner? Her husband Harry Hamlin. In the past, he denied that his wife put Xanax in smoothies. Good to know. When a Twitter feud erupted between Rinna and Harry’s former wife, Nicollette Sheridan, Harry once again defended Rinna. Fun fact: Nicollette was also married to Aaron Phypers. Aaron had to wait for his divorce from Nicollette to be finalized so he could marry RHOBH newbie Denise Richards.
Wasn’t last night’s Real Housewives of Beverly Hills a great episode? Although last week’s dramatic fight between Lisa Vanderpump and Kyle Richards still lingered in the air, it was nice to have a show that was a little more low-key. You can’t have high drama each week-or you would never appreciate it when the good stuff actually happens!
For the ladies, it was all about celebrating. Lisa was the guest of honor at her own birthday party, with Denise Richards as the only invited Housewife guest. Most of the other ladies were at a get together at Beauty & Essex for Denise’s recent wedding-a post bachelorette shower, if you will. And Lisa Rinna tried to do damage control regarding an insensitive tweet she sent out to LVP for her birthday. Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave believes that the tweet was all an innocent mistake-but was it?
Season 9 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills certainly has focused on one issue—what happened to Lucy Lucy Apple Juice. We all know that Dorit Kemsley and her husband, PK Kemsley, violated their adoption contract with Vanderpump Dogs by re-homing Lucy rather than returning her to Lisa Vanderpump’s organization. Lucy nipped the children and PK, so it is understandable that Dorit had to make some hard decisions. But Dorit had previously returned a dog to Vanderpump Dogs, so she should have known the rules. Somehow poor Lucy ended up in a kill shelter. If only Dorit had read the contract that she signed, or just given the dog back, all of this would have been avoided. And we would instead be speculating about why Harry Hamlin is spending so much time in the Canadian wilderness without wife Lisa Rinna. (Sorry, Rinna!)
Dorit and PK are under mounting financial pressure, so it isn’t shocking that they didn’t pay Vanderpump Dogs the $5,000 fee for violating the contract. “Puppy gate” has rippled through the entire RHOBH cast. Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave says that Lisa instructed employees John Sessa and John Blizzard share information about Dorit’s dastardly deed with Teddi. Kyle Richards believes, along with every other Beverly Hills Housewife, that Lisa leaked the story about Dorit to the press.
Lord this season of Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills is making me reach for the CBD oil faster than Teddi Mellencamp Arroyave can turn on a friend and spin on a bike!
It all ends badly, but we start out lovely by watching Denise Richards and Aaron Phypers open their wedding presents. I wished we could’ve seen them unwrap the tequila from Dorit Kemsley, but alas Dorit probably ‘conveniently forgot’ the wedding gift, just like she conveniently forgets to tell her so-called close friend that she gave her dog away to a woman she kinda knows, or doesn’t know, or is an associate of PK’s or is you know, a shelter named A Very Lovely Random Woman.
It would be difficult to dispute that The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ Lisa Rinna is the queen of the hustle. From hawking adult diapers to shilling her clothing line on QVC, Lisa will do anything to make a buck. Nothing wrong with that. For the right price, who wouldn’t don a diaper on television?
Lisa’s favorite sideline over the past few years, however, has been as a “momager,” attempting to launch her daughters with Harry Hamlin into modeling careers ala Yolanda Hadid. Delilah Hamlin and Amelia Hamlin have had some success in the modeling world so far, with magazine covers and ad campaigns. And now, there is an unconfirmed report that a possible reality show starring the Hamlin sisters in the works.
If there is one thing we have learned since Ramona Singer has been a single girl in the city, it is that she has game. For someone who was blindsided by a divorce in her late fifties, The Real Housewives of New York star has been enthusiastic about jumping back into the dating pool. Maybe a little too enthusiastic at times. Ramona loves to shamelessly flirt, even though her skills are sometimes questionable.
Apparently, Ramona has not always been as confident in her approach to men as she is now. She has revealed that prior to her divorce from ex Mario Singer, she had a brief interest in another House Husband. None other than the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’ favorite husband Harry Hamlin.
