Derek Hough

Derek Hough, who was slated to star in Singin’ In The Rain on Broadway this Fall, wasn’t expected to be a part of the upcoming season of Dancing with the Stars. However, last week, Derek shared on Instagram that the show has been delayed.

“This fall, I was planning on being immersed in rehearsals for Singin’ in the Rain on Broadway, but due to successes of the shows currently running, that project has been delayed because there simply isn’t a theater available,” said Derek. “With my fall schedule freeing up I’m excited to say that I’ll be back on Dancing with the Stars for Season 23. It is always great to be back with my DWTS family, coaching, creating, and making lasting memories.”

ABC announced the Dancing with the Stars Season 23 stars on GMA this morning. As previously reported, Little Women L.A. star Terra Jole, Olympic swimmer Ryan Lochte, and Kim Kardashian‘s arch enemy Amber Rose will compete for the Mirror Ball.

Fan favorite pros Cheryl Burke, Derek Hough, and Maksim Chmerkovskiy are all returning to the ballroom this season. About her return, Cheryl said, “I miss my family. It’s been three seasons. It feels like it’s been a decade since I’ve been back on Dancing with the Stars. I am so excited to be able to be back and dance with Ryan and put that spray tan and glitter back on. I’m ready to be back and do what I was born to do.” Check out the complete cast list below and let us know if you plan to watch.

Amber-Rose

It’s that time of year again: there are plenty of rumblings about who may or may not be a part of the upcoming Dancing With the Stars season. As per usual, not everything is confirmed and there’s more rumors than facts, but there is still some definitive news: Amber Rose will be joining the cast. That should be interesting to say the least. There is absolutely nothing boring about Amber Rose, so that will be fun to see.

A good amount of the dancing pros that we are used to seeing will be back for next season as well and there’s also rumblings about Teresa Giudice joining the cast.

Dancing with the Stars season 22 Kim Fields

ABC announced the Dancing with the Stars season 22 stars this morning on Good Morning America, and the rumors were true, The Real Housewives of Atlanta star Kim Fields is on the list. “It’s the best fun,” she says. “I’m having a ball.”

Who will Kim be competing against? Well, my eye is on, Full House star Jodie Sweetin, mixed martial artist Paige VanZant, and America’s Next Top Model winner Nyle DiMarco. Not only is Nyle easy on the eyes, but he is also deaf, which presents an interesting challenge for his partner Peta Murgatroyd. Check out the full cast list below and let us know if you plan to watch.

Dancing with the Stars finale

Weeping on social media, check. Talking to the press, check. Throwing yourself in front of the camera when the winner was announced, check. Actually winning Dancing with the Stars season 21, yeah, no. Obviously, Kim Zolciak was not eligible to win, as she was forced to withdraw from the competition in week 3, but that didn’t stop her from carrying on like it was national Kim Zolciak returns to Dancing with the Stars day.

In reality, Bindi Irwin and Derek Hough took home the mirror ball trophy last night, but Kim did finally get to perform the I Dream Of Jeannie inspired Samba she was schedule to do the week she withdrew. “It was very emotional,” shared Kim. “I had a stroke when I left. I had heart surgery three weeks ago. So, to be back here doing my dance, it goes way beyond the show and the experience. I am so thankful to be here.” See the weepy video Kim posted on Instagram after her 30 seconds of Samba below.

Dancing with the Stars Season 21 photos

ABC has released the Dancing with the Stars season 21 cast photos.

Above is my number one reason for watching this season, Don’t Be Tardy star Kim Zolciak with her partner Tony Dovolani. It would be an understatement to say Tony has his work cut out for him this season, but then again, he survived NeNe Leakes and Kate Gosselin. I’m also looking forward to watching Tamar Braxton dance with Val Chmerkovskiy (my favorite pro).

Below are photos of this season’s stars – Gary Busey, Kim, Bindi Irwin, Nick Carter, Hayes Grier, Victor Espinoza, Chaka Khan, Alek Skarlatos, Paula Deen, Alexa PenaVega, Carlos PenaVega, Andy Grammer, and Tamar – with their pro partners. Season 21 of Dancing with the Stars begins Monday, September 14th on ABC. Do you plan to watch this season?

Dancing with the Stars Season 21

ABC announced the Dancing with the Stars season 21 stars this morning on Good Morning America. Most of the cast had been revealed ahead of time, but there were a few surprises.

Much to our surprise, Don’t Be Tardy star Kim Zolciak isn’t the only reality TV star dancing for the mirror ball trophy this season. Braxton Family Values and Tamar & Vince star Tamar Braxton is competing against Kim.

As for the pro dancers, one of my favorite Dancing with the Stars pros, Anna Trebunskaya, is back. Unfortunately, she has been paired with Gary Busey. Why can’t I have nice things?!? Also disappointing, Peta Murgatroyd is out for the season due to an ankle injury. Peta was supposed to dance with “Honey I’m Good” singer Andy Grammer. He’ll dance with Allison Holker instead. Check out the complete list below and let us know if you plan to watch.
