There has been a lot going on with all of your favorite (and least favorite) reality stars this week, which means that Instagram was full of new photos. Jax Taylor got support from his Vanderpump Rules costars (past and present love interests) Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and Brittany Cartwright in Michigan at a “Celebration of Life” event to honor his father who recently passed away. Meanwhile Scheana Marie cozied up to (yet another) one of Brandi Glanville’s exes- Gerard Butler- and posed for a selfie with him, of course. She even claims that he was the one who insisted on taking the photo.
The last episode of Real Housewives of Atlanta was the first one in a long time when every cast member got along. It didn’t provide any GIF or meme-worthy content, but it was significant in a different way.
The Atlanta Housewives came together to film Kenya Moore’s public service announcement about domestic violence.
Does a story count as “news” when we’ve already seen the same headline 983,526 times in the past? Apparently it does when the specific details differ slightly, but it’s not exactly shocking to hear NeNe Leakes is done with Kim Zolciak for what feels like the millionth time. Yes, I get it, there are some different circumstances coming into play this time, but it’s not “shocking” news anymore, or at least it’s not to me.
Plus, how can you be “done” with someone who is on the same show as you? Did they even film the Real Housewives of Atlanta Season 10 reunion yet? Obviously, NeNe is going to be there and as a “Friend of the Housewives,” it’s safe to assume that Kim will show up to stand up for herself. Not only that, but Kim has not been shy about doing what she can for a paycheck, so if she’s asked to return to RHOA next season, she probably will. So is it actually possible for NeNe to remove Kim from her life? Nope, not if she still wants to be a Real Housewife.
The door between NeNe Leakes and Porsha Williams remains closed, people! At least for now, and possibly for a good chunk of the season to come on The Real Housewives Of Atlanta. NeNe claims it’s because she is held to a higher standard than Porsha – and the rest of the cast, in fact – when it comes to owning up to her behavior.
Laying blame entirely at Porsha’s feet for their beef, NeNe justifies her actions at Marlo Hampton’s tea party, at which absolutely nothing was resolved between the warring women. NeNe defends, “I definitely don’t think we got anywhere at Marlo’s tea party! I’m still very puzzled as to why I even had to sit down and talk with Porsha about something she totally created.”
Anyone who has been watching the current Real Housewives of Atlanta season knows that Porsha Williamsreached for a story line took issue with NeNe Leakes mentioning her name when a fan asked who should be fired from the show. That interview stood out for a minute, but ironically enough Porsha is the one who gave this interview so much life in the public eye.
And of course, more people are asking the OG cast member to share her thoughts on who should and who should not be on the show. Porsha really just made this whole thing worse for herself, didn’t she?
I was actually really pleased by last night’s Real Housewives Of Atlanta. In addition to the usual drama and bickering, all the ladies came together to film a PSA produced by Kenya Moore about domestic violence. It was thoughtful, emotional, and really prescient – so here’s to RHOA setting a good example for once! Of course we also had to squeeze in some necessary nonsense.
It’s been THREE long weeks since we’ve checked in on our peaches. They went to San Fran, that ended in disaster, and now the disasters have been toted back to Atlanta in borrowed and fake Birkins and trudged on by Jimmy Choos.
I am a loyal viewer to every single series in the Real Housewives franchise. I’ll stick around for the less than stellar seasons and the newer shows that are still finding their footing. I’ll even watch episodes I wasn’t “that into” multiple times. What I’m saying is that I will consume every bit of Real Housewives content that I possibly can- whether it’s good or bad less than what I expected.
One show that I have always enjoyed watching is Real Housewives of Atlanta. This show has constantly delivered. Sure, there are some episodes that are less than explosive, but there has never been a whole season of the show that has missed the mark- which is not something that can be said about the other Housewives shows. That’s why I’m so here for The Real Housewives of Atlanta after show that we are about to be blessed with.
