After Scheana Marie’s now-ex Rob Valletta told Jax Taylor and Tom Sandoval that he does not say “I love you,” Jax shared that with the rest of the Vanderpump Rules cast. Scheana decided to get revenge on Jax by setting up SUR employee Adam Spott with Jax’s girlfriend Brittany Cartwright.
Scheana admitted several times on camera that the move was out of spite, but later backtracked and said she wanted Brittany to realize there are other guys in the world aside from Jax. Jax is far from the model boyfriend, but why would she try to fix up someone who is already in a relationship? Oh right, to stir the pot.
During the Vanderpump Rules After Show, Tom Schwartz theorized, “Honestly I like Adam a lot and I think that he got muscled into that situation by some of the other girls. I don’t know who.” Did he not watch the episode? Scheana took full ownership of this setup. Tom Sandoval concurred, “I don’t think he wanted anything to do with that.”
Schwartz continued, “Listen, he’s a young dude. He’s obviously, you know single. He’s handsome. He’s a stud.” Sandoval added, “He’s a very polite guy.” So how did this end up happening? Schwartz said, “He got muscled and bullied into that,” and “He got shoved into that situation” by Scheana. Sandoval agreed and said, “I don’t think he knew.”
Schwartz insisted, “He had no context. He didn’t know the history.” He’s working at SUR and has no idea about what’s going on with the Vanderpump Rules cast members? Sandoval said, “I don’t think he had anything to do with that.”
Then Jax jumped in and declared, “Nobody is that in the dark.” He continued, “I’ll give you a little of that, but nobody is that stupid.”
Jax said, “Do I think that he was muscled in a little bit? Yeah, maybe a little bit, but you’ve got a successful show on TV. We’ve been on TV for a long time. You work at SUR, maybe I want a taste of the pie a little bit.”
Tom and Tom were not buying that theory. Schwartz shook his head and Sandoval told Jax, “No, dude.” Even so, Jax insisted, “I’m allowed to have my own opinion. I think there was a little bit of that.”
