Real Housewives of New York star Tinsley Mortimer’s storyline has been very similar the past couple of seasons. Mainly her desire to have a family and a willing partner to join her. Her tagline this year perfectly summed it up, “Game, set, now I need a match.” Plus, who knew she was also a good tennis player?
Tinsley thought she had found her perfect match when she started dating Carole Radziwill’s friend Scott Kluth. But it didn’t take long to see that the relationship was one sided. Scott was always MIA. When he did show up, Tinsley embarrassed herself by acting like a fan girl. Thankfully, because of the tick tock of Tinsley’s ticking clock (say that three times fast), Tinsley realized it’s time to move on.
Recently, Tinsley was spotted out with entertainment TV host, Billy Bush. He definitely seems more Tinsley’s speed than Scott, as he has no problem being on TV. Plus, they both have gone through drama in the public eye and are looking to make a come back.
So, are the two an item now? In an interview with People, Tinsley revealed where she’s currently at in her dating life and addressed the rumors she was dating Billy. As long as Tinsley isn’t getting back together with the commitment-phobic Scott, it’s all good to me.
Tinsley said, “Billy and I have been friends for a long time…He’s a good friend and is super fun.” She added, “We all did go bowling together, it was a fun night.”
Uh oh, Billy is in the friend zone. Does this mean they are actually just friends? Or are they BEST friends with benefits like Vanderpump Rules stars Scheana Marie and Adam Spott?

Even if they are, Tinsley is not tying herself down to one person. She said, “I am fully dating again…I’m dating a lot of different people. I’m having fun doing it. I feel free and like myself again.”
For any potential suitors who are worried about being a part of the show, Tinsley is not making it mandatory. She said, “The show is an important part of my life. I understand that there are people that don’t always want to be exposed to that and I can’t assume that they would. It’s a give and a take.”

I’m glad Tinsley is having fun and feeling like herself again. It seems like the rush of having a family has been put on hold for now so she can focus on finding a partner. She just needs to stay clear of having any dates at The Regency, and of RHONY addict Harry Dubin (lest she suffer the wrath of Sonya Morgan) and she’ll be just fine.
