Many Southern Charm fans miss Cameran Eubanks narrating the show. Some people are hating on her for quitting as soon as Kathryn Dennis brought up rumors about her husband Jason Wimberly cheating.
Even so, for the most part, Cam has been relatively unscathed throughout her reality TV career, which started on MTV’s The Real World. On Southern Charm, she spent most of her time commenting on other people’s lives, keeping hers pretty private. But, perhaps, she was waiting to open up until she could share her story on her own terms.
Cameran told People about her upcoming book, called One Day You’ll Thank Me, which is about “dating, motherhood and all of life’s messiest moments.” The book is a collection of essays that touches on her experiences with reality TV, relationships, and parenthood.
The memoir, which will be a collection of essays, touches on her foray into reality television and gives her candid and honest takes on relationships and parenthood. Cam said, “Nothing brings me more joy than being a mom. However, motherhood is also by far the hardest thing I have ever done. Ever.”

Cameran added, “One reason I wrote this book was that I didn’t connect with the flawless parenting images I saw on social media. For me, they could not have been further from the truth.”
Cameran said, “I feel like many women don’t talk about what you really go through as a new mom. Perhaps it’s because they don’t want to be labeled as depressed, admit that they didn’t have this Instagram-worthy experience or seem like they don’t have their act together.”

She added, “I wanted to tell the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the milk-leaking, pee-in-my pants, when-can-I-drop-her-at-daycare truth. But I also wanted to assure readers that you will be okay!”
Cameran also posted about the book on Instagram, which resulted in lots of support from the Southern Charm stars. Shep Rose commented, “Congrats Cam! So basically you condensed our phone calls into a book?” Patricia Altschul wrote, “Congratulations that’s fabulous.”

Austen Kroll commented, “Congrats, Cam! Was totally oblivious when we spoke earlier.” Whitney Sudler-Smith wrote, “Well done Cam!”
Southern Charm alum Chelsea Meissner replied, “Are you going to tell us where the aliens are hiding too? So freakin proud of you, I could explode.” Naomie Olindo said, “I’m SO PROUD OF YOU!!!! You did it!!!!” Eliza Limehouse commented, “Get it mama.” Landon Clements said, “So wonderful!”

Real Housewives of Orange County alum Gretchen Rossi said, “Ahh congrats love!!! So great.” Meghan Edmonds commented, “Yes yes yes I love this!!!” I would love for Meghan to share a tell-all book…. if there’s anything left to say about Jim Edmonds at this point, anyway.
Cameran’s former Real World co-star Jamie Chung commented, “PURCHASING RIGHT NOW!!!! This is awesome Cam!!! Congrats!!!” Bravo supefan Meghan McCain wrote, “Hey now!!!!”

Craig Conover, Captain Lee Rosbach, and Margaret Josephs all clicked “like” on Cameran’s Instagram post. As expected, Kathryn had zero (public reaction). She was probably seething with anger in Thomas’ guest house at home.
