Real Housewives of Salt Lake City’s first season has drawn to a close, and I loved it. The franchise is filled with big personalities, and tons of drama. Whitney Rose is one of RHOSLC’s break-out stars. Whitney renewed her vows to her husband, Justin Rose, to celebrate 10 years of wedded bliss.
Their history is a bit scandalous. Whitney and Justin had an affair when they were both married to other people. They got divorced so that they could be together. As a result, they left the Mormon Church.
Whitney’s issues with co-star Jen Shah came to a head at the surprise party that Jen threw for her husband, Sharrieff Shah. Jen’s frenemy Mary Cosby told Whitney that RHOSLC cast members Meredith Marks and Lisa Barlow were talking about how they were scared of Jen.
After that, Whitney decided to tell Jen about Lisa and Meredith at Sharrieff’s 90’s hip-hop party. I mean, what could possibly go wrong? After some awkward rambling, and too much alcohol, Whitney and her cousin, Heather Gay, spill the tea about what Mary told Whitney. Consequently, this triggered a full meltdown from Jen, complete with throwing a glass and screaming. As a result, Sharrieff was upset by Jen’s volatile behavior and stayed away from Shah Chalet for a few days.

Jen later accepted Whitney’s apology. However, during the ladies Sin City getaway, Jen unleashed her fury once again at Whitney, only this time all the ladies are affected by Jen’s rage. Above all, Jen will never let Whitney off the hook for”ruining” her husband’s party. During the RHOSLC season finale, Jen gave Whitney a half-hearted apology about Las Vegas just to make Whitney go away.
Whitney took to Twitter after an episode of RHOSLC aired where Sharrieff said that Jen was “sweet.” Whitney tweeted, “Does anyone notice how some of the housewives behave differently when their husbands are around?” with a thinking emoji. So shady, Whitney!

Jen wasn’t mentioned by name, but of course she replied anyway. Realhousewivesfranchise Instagram account posted a screenshot of Jen’s Instagram Story. “Why is someone always worried and talking about everyone else’s husband and marriage?” Jen asked.
On January 27, 2021 Whitney appeared as a guest on Watch What Happens Live. Host Andy Cohen asked if Whitney was “surprised that everyone raised their hand that they didn’t trust Jen, I should say?”
“No. I wasn’t surprised at all,” Whitney commented. “I think it’s quite obvious that there is something going on there.” There is a lot going on with Jen–at all times.

Andy said, “Number one question for you Whitney was that… ummm… people are upset that Jen keeps placing the blame on you for how Coach Shah’s party ended. Are you to blame, or is her reaction what really ruined the party?”
“Yeah, so like I’ve said a thousand times, I realize now that my timing was wrong. And I own that, and I’m not going to do that again,” Whitney explained. “However, Jen is responsible for her behavior and if her freaking out at the party caused ripples in her marriage, then what is really going on in her marriage? I don’t think that has anything to do with me,” she added.
