Real Housewives of Salt Lake City fans are still watching the ladies play Clue, wondering whether Mary Cosby or Meredith Marks had some knowledge regarding Jen Shah’s March 2021 arrest. It’s something cast members Whitney Rose and Heather Gay in particular have been questioning since that day at Beauty Lab and now some other Bravolebs are getting in on the speculation!
During a recent episode of Watch What Happens Live, Andy Cohen had Vanderpump Rules Lala Kent dish her opinions on the franchise that hails from her hometown. “Since Salt Lake City is Lala’s hometown and she even knows some of the housewives personally, we want to get all her thoughts on this season”. During a round of questions, Andy brought up Jen, asking “General reaction to everything Jen Shah is going through”.
Lala explained, “You know its so sticky, because I don’t know the truth, I think a lot of people don’t know the truth.” She continued, “But I always say, like the truth always reveals itself, the universe always makes sure of it and you know, innocent until proven guilty.”
Andy then dug in, asking Lala, “Do you think that Mary or Meredith might have actually had something to do with the feds knowing Jen was at Beauty Lab?” Lala pauses only briefly before responding “I think Mary knew something was going on.” She added adamantly, “I’m not a fan of hers at all and I think she may have had a hand in that.”

Both Meredith and Mary, who are so close, were both absent the day Jen was arrested. Mary then addressing the arrest with “that’s what happens when you mess with my church” wasn’t the least suspicious thing she could have said. This gave a seeming sliver of credibility to Whitney’s wild theory that perhaps Meredith’s PI uncovered something, that Mary leaked to the FBI. It sounds like something out of a movie, but the other ladies entertain it, unaware Jen was arrested after compelling evidence was compiled over the course of years by the bureau.
While Meredith has gone to the extra step of publicly denying any involvement in the investigation, Mary has remained mum in terms of any official statement. Given some of the outlandish things that have been coming from Mary’s camp lately, on air and off, we’re thinking that’s probably a smart decision.
