Karen Huger Thinks That Gizelle Bryant Should Have A Spinoff Show “Focused On Her Wardrobe”

Season 6 of Real Housewives of Potomac was on fire! Viewers can always look forward to the latest feud between the Grande Dame Karen Huger and Gizelle Bryant. Karen accused her RHOP co-star Gizelle of having a “fiery box” and says that’s why they “went to Sing Sing.” Say what now?

Gizelle fired back and said Karen’s “box is like old and stanky and smelly like chitlins.” Chitlins are a Southern specialty that consists of pig intestines. Oof.

Last season, Karen and Wendy Osefo had each other’s backs. Well, except for when Karen revealed that she was creating a candle line after Wendy asked her advice about selling her candles. Awkward!

Gizelle mentioned a rumor about Wendy’s husband, Eddie Osefo, having a mistress and a child on the side. Wendy exploded at Gizelle for bringing up the rumor. Karen bashed Gizelle for not caring about Wendy enough to share the information privately.

Meanwhile, Karen was sworn in as the Ambassador to Surry County, Virginia, where she grew up. Karen was reveling in the spotlight.

Karen got her own two-part spinoff titled Real Housewives of Potomac: Karen’s Grande Dame Reunion. The show follows Karen and her extended family as they have a reunion at Wooden Farm and work out the future of the historic property.

Of course, if we are discussing RHOP, then we need to discuss Gizelle’s fashion sensibility. Gizelle has come under fire from her castmates, and the viewers, for her eclectic fashion sense. Karen even congratulated her frenemy for picking “primary colors” for her wardrobe.

And during the Season 6 reunion, Gizelle revealed that she has had the same stylist since RHOP launched. That’s right–someone was helping Gizelle make those wardrobe misfires. Her wardrobe  did improve last season.

Karen told Page Six that Gizelle should get a spinoff based on her fashion choices. “You know, [Gizelle is] improving. I think it should be focused on her wardrobe. Maybe a makeover show,” Karen remarked.

“You’re going to make me be messy!” she added. Karen doesn’t need any help in that department. “That could go well for her because she’s making progress. Hey, it’s a story. Stay tuned!” the Grande Dame stated.

In a previous interview with Page Six, Gizelle discussed putting her look together. “They come for everything: my style, my house, my hair, my makeup,” Gizelle remarked. “When I leave the house, I look in the mirror and I know I look good. So, I don’t care what people have to say or think about what I’m looking like.”

Gizelle did post on Instagram about Karen’s new show right before the series aired. “She came through, didn’t she? There is hope, Jesus! There is hope!” Karen said. Karen added that she didn’t hear from Gizelle after securing the spinoff. “It was quiet. It was like crickets. But, you know, Gizelle has her own victories,” Karen stated. “We all have our own thing. But it was crickets for months.”

Karen explained that she hopes that her two-part special will open up opportunities for her co-stars. “So, I certainly love the support I got … They posted support and I just really think that’s a beautiful thing because when one of us does well, you know it’s lining it up for the other,” she remarked.

Karen continued, “That’s the one thing about RHOP women. We can be kind to each other [about] our projects and we lift each other [up].”
