No matter how hard she tries, Bethenny Frankel will never be able to permanently distance herself from Real Housewives of New York. It’s the platform that made her, even though she loves to trash it and her former friends any chance she gets. Bethenny has finally realized that, for better or worse, nothing sells like Real Housewives. It’s why she’s resorted to starting a rewatch podcast of the franchise. Unfortunately, not all of the B’s former friends are glad she’s back to her roots.
To be fair, Bethenny already shares too many unwanted opinions about everything on the internet. It seems like people want her to keep her nonsense to TikTok, because it’s just exhausting. She and Ramona Singer apparently do have something in common — shading the new era of RHONY. How serendipitous. Apparently, Luann de Lesseps is adding herself to the list of hating on the haters. She isn’t very happy that Bethenny is crawling back to Housewives to make a dime, and let her opinions be known on the Everything Iconic podcast with Danny Pellegrino.
According to Page Six, Danny asked The Countess to share her opinions on Bethenny’s rewatch podcast. “If she s—ts on the show, that means she’s gonna s—t on us on her little podcast about the ‘Housewives,'” Lu said. Safe to say Lu won’t be a subscriber.
To throw even more shade, Lu dragged in the Skinny Girl of it all in her response. “It’s pretty sad and pathetic that she has to resort to ‘Housewives’ because of all her failed pivots since the ‘Housewives,'” Lu said. Burnnnnn. Truthfully, a rewatch podcast has been done before. Plus, the Real Housewives-centered podcast space is pretty full of entertaining creators already aside from B. One might actually call her new venture a “cheater brand,” perhaps. The Countess is riding the high of her cabaret and her upcoming spinoff show with Miss Sonja Morgan. She has little to say about Bethenny’s pod, which she called a “pretty desperate scenario.” It’s honestly hard to believe that Lu and Bethenny were good friends at one point. Since B gave up her apple, she apparently gave that up too.
