While the Vanderpump Rules cast has always felt like a debaucherous crew of my pseudo-close friends, I cannot imagine what it’s like to be any of them right now. Especially Ariana Madix. Ariana is dealing with not just the end of a decade-long relationship with Tom Sandoval. No, it came with a very public cheating scandal involving none other than Raquel Leviss. Truly, Ariana must feel like the past couple of weeks were an absolute whirlwind. I know every VPR fan sure does.
Pump Rules Season 10 is a tornado of drama in and of itself. The crew has picked up filming to get all the dirty #Scandoval details to us in real time. Unfortunately for Ariana, it means going back to work right after being publically betrayed by her partner. Ariana will have a long healing journey ahead, but everyone knows she was born cool. She’ll be way cooler in the long run without Sandoval hanging on her neck.
Ariana has been pretty quiet since the VPR #Scandoval broke. We know she jetted off to Mexico to live her best life after the news broke, which is exactly what she should be doing. She also opted to delete social media and be surrounded by IRL friends. Now, after a brief break, Ariana is back on Instagram. She’s still staying quiet, but she’s back (via Us Weekly).
Ariana reactivated her Instagram on March 8, 2023. Fans noticed that she made it a point to no longer follow Raquel, Sandoval, or Tom Schwartz. Again, good for her. Raquel and Sandoval deserve each other and they can have Schwartz with them. Raquel’s Instagram page is still looking as foolish as ever, so why would Ariana want to be privy to that?
It’s also badass that Ariana is keeping quiet. She’s going to let the show speak for itself and move on from all of this. It’s not like Tom or Raquel’s pathetic apologies were worth a response anyway. We’re all rooting for Ariana and it’s good to see her slowly getting back into a new sense of normalcy.
