Alexia Nepola Shares If She’s Offended By Gizelle Bryant Telling Her To Stop Speaking Spanish On Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip

I’m living vicariously through the ladies on Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip Season 3 through their extravagant vacation in Thailand. I wish I was living my best life in a palace and getting KFC delivery from Pepsi’s smiling face. For now, I’ll enjoy the drama from the comfort of my own couch while battling the end of winter weather. At least there’s plenty of hot tea from the latest edition to keep us all warm.

Two spicy faces on the latest season of RHUGT are Real Housewives of Miami OGs Marysol Patton and Alexia Nepola. The two are a dynamic duo in chaos, as any fans of the revived Real Housewives series know. They are also proud Latina women who are bilingual, which is the ultimate flex. Unfortunately, their linguistic talents weren’t a big selling point to some of their new roomies on the Thai trip.

Gizelle Bryant’s one job on Real Housewives of Potomac is to be shady. Obviously, she brought those talents to her debut RHUGT moment. Fans were upset to see that Gizelle shaded the RHOM stars for speaking Spanish. Gizzy was paranoid that Alexia and Marysol were talking about her in a language she didn’t understand. Really, they were absent-mindedly switching languages as is natural to them and weren’t giving Gizelle an ounce of attention.

Gizzy gave an excuse that her daughters like to bully her in Spanish because she can’t understand. Girl, they do that in ENGLISH, TOO. Gizelle needs to be mindful of whatever is coming out of her own mouth in the English language, but I digress. Alexia appeared on Watch What Happens Live this week to dish on all things RHUGT.

While answering Andy Cohen’s juicy questions, Alexia was asked to respond to Gizelle telling her to stop speaking Spanish. In general, she wasn’t offended, just annoyed, according to Bravo’s The Daily Dish. “It just caught me off guard,” Alexia said. “I was like, ‘Why would you say this, and why would you want me not to speak Spanish?’” Period. Alexia can put her foot in her mouth herself so it’s not shocking she’s not dragging out being offended. But girl, we can be offended for you.

Alexia reiterated that as she got to know Gizelle better, she really became less offended by it. Obviously, the same can’t be said for a lot of the ladies’ feelings about Leah McSweeney, but I digress. If Alexia isn’t going to hold Gizelle’s feet to the fire for this indiscretion, we know Candiace Dillard Bassett will one way or another.

TELL US – ARE YOU SURPRISED THAT ALEXIA WASN’T OFFENDED BY GIZELLE’S COMMENTS? WHY DO YOU THINK GIZELLE WAS SO TRIGGERED BY ALEXIA AND MARYSOL SPEAKING SPANISH?
