It seems the time of icing Jax Taylor out of the Vanderpump Rules cast is finished. Both he and his wife, Brittany Cartwright, left the show in 2020. And fell out of the friend circle. He blames the coronavirus pandemic, but the cynical Vanderpump Rules viewers think the group simply had little to gain from his friendship.
Most notably, Jax and Brittany fell out with former co-stars Stassi Schroeder and Beau Clark after they skipped the couple’s wedding in Rome, Italy. Since then, Jax has spoken of Stassi refusing his gift, of cold shoulder action, and accusing Katie Maloney of jumping on the bandwagon.
But Jax’s relationship with Lisa Vanderpump also suffered, and she was not part of that feud. Perhaps Lisa would give the same answer about their falling out, or perhaps she had no reason to work on a relationship that was no longer a professional one.
Jax recalls an “emotional” conversation
One pair of Watch What Happens Live viewers were trying to get an answer on the matter. They asked Jax what his “current relationship” is “like with Lisa Vanderpump” via virtual connection.
And Jax gave a surprising response, given that it’s been a full three years since he had much to do with the Vanderpump Rules matriarch.
“It’s actually pretty good. Recently we just started talking again. We haven’t really spoken in a really long time and then we just met up for lunch. Actually, at one of James [Kennedy’s] See You Next Tuesday parties,” Jax revealed.
He detailed the moving reunion with his former boss. “So, we met up about, I would say, about four weeks ago,” Jax explained. “and we had a really good conversation for like an hour and a half. It was emotional, there was tears. A lot happened during covid. We lost touch, we had a baby. Things that happened, and there was some miscommunication. But now we’re good. A hundred percent.”
Surely, this wouldn’t be coinciding with Jax’s triumphant return to reality TV on House of Villians? Or perhaps his connection with Scandoval reset some relationships when he returned to the limelight.
