Celebrities always receive another layer of charm when they admit they’re fans of reality TV. The genre is a relatable guilty pleasure, after all. When celebrities voice their love of reality TV, it brings them that much more down to earth.
Nicki Minaj is a prime example. The rapper is a woman of the people in many ways, and her love for all things Housewives is indicative of that.
Recently, Nicki appeared on Watch What Happens Live, where she discussed that love with Andy Cohen.
Nicki has something to say about these Bravo stars
During her appearance on WWHL, Nicki and Andy played a game called “Pink Friday or Not Today,” wherein Nicki had to rate Housewives dressed in pink by way of the game’s name. Starting with Mia Thornton in a pink catsuit, Nicki approved. Next up was Denise Richards’ now-controversial upside-down pink jacket.
Nicki stared blankly for a moment before saying, “I’m trying to understand the – where is it …” she trailed off. The logistics confused her, so she said, “Let me pass and come back.” Next up was Erika Jayne’s pink latex confessional look, and Nicki immediately said, “Ooh, that’s very Pink Friday.”
As for Dr. Wendy Osefo’s pink sequin froth from Season 5, Nicki took a long pause. “Now, you know I pull up in a Sri Lanka,” she joked, “But no ma’am. No sir.” When confronted with Meredith Marks’ pink feather dress, Nicki let out another “No ma’am, no sir.” Karen Huger’s pink pantsuit and giant pink hat received a “Pink Friday.”
When shown Kathy Hilton’s look from the Season 12 reunion, Nicki nodded and said, “It’s Kathy Hilton.” Marlo Hampton’s pink tweed blazer received an “Ooh, Pink Friday.” In response to Jenna Lyons’ pink floral top at the RHONY premiere party, Nicki said, “You know what … because she’s the way she’s built, she can actually pull that top off. I actually love that top.”
