The Vanderpump Rules finale has finally aired, and boy do we have a lot of feelings. Ariana Madix ended the season by storming away from Tom Sandoval, who relentlessly was trying to get the cameras to catch him apologizing to her. Lala Kent broke the fourth wall and slammed Ariana for not giving Sandoval a break, despite the freshness of the scandal. Meanwhile, Sandoval’s hot mic moment insinuated he did have a redemption plot in mind. Needless to say, there’s a lot to unpack at the reunion.
Kristen Doute is back in the Bravoverse thanks to The Valley. However, her OG roots (and many of her OG friends) are still Pump Rules stars. Kristen has been a staunch supporter of Ariana — well, after Miami Girl. That feels like another lifetime ago. Anyway, she recently appeared on The Lady Gang podcast to continue to show support for a fellow Sandoval ex following the Pump Rules finale.
Kristen is picking a side
In a clip posted to TikTok of the interview, Kristen shared her opinions about Sandoval and Ariana having to film together loud and clear. “Do I think everyone should be torturing Sandoval forever? No. But also stop making Ariana uncomfortable,” Kristen said. Many people write off a lot of what Kristen has to say because of her track record, but she’s right on the money with this one.
While Kristen felt like she was “five years old” by picking a side, she proclaimed she was “Team Katie [Maloney] and Ariana” all the way. “I just think it’s really unfair that no one’s given Ariana like five minutes to breathe,” Kristen added. “I love that Katie is totally supporting her no matter what.” Now this is the girl kumbaya that Season 11 of VPR deserved. Bring on the reunion.
