Yolanda Hadid introduced fans to Erika Jayne during Season 6 of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. Yolanda and her then-husband, David Foster, were friends with Erika and her now jailed estranged husband, Tom Girardi, they explained. But after this season aired, Yolanda exited filming, and Erika’s storylines quickly took a nasty legal turn, thanks to Tom. Yolanda had a rough go in Season 6. Her chronic Lyme disease was getting the best of her, so she tried removing everything from her life that potentially triggered her symptoms, including her breast implants. Her health journey, however, confused some of her costars. One even suggested that Yolanda might have Munchausen syndrome.
Meanwhile, her marriage to David completely fell apart. So, Yolanda took her journey(s) off the air, hoping to find peace. Several seasons later, Erika’s life also spiraled. Tom stole money from his clients. And just as Yolanda experienced, Erika started receiving a lot of side eyes from certain members of her cast.
But whatever became of Yolanda and Erika’s friendship? Well, when their worlds went up in proverbial flames, their communications stalled. Even still, Erika’s love for Yolanda (seemingly) remains.
As Erika explained on WWHL, “I have not spoken with [Yolanda] in years, and I really should reconnect with her. When everything happened in like 2020 with Tom, a lot of friendships fell away,” she admitted, adding, “I haven’t spoken with her” since. But now that this thought is back on her radar, maybe soon, that will change.
