Zack and Benji had a housewarming party after Zack’s roommate moved out. However, Danny lied to both Nia and Zack about drinking that night. Meanwhile, Jesse suggested that Brittany should be held accountable for her behavior.

Jason had his knee surgery and is now facing 4 to 6 weeks in a cast. So, Janet is responsible for running their household and looking after Jason. Naturally, Janet felt stressed.

Elsewhere, Michelle and Nia met up for coffee. Michelle shared that she and Jesse “are at the finish line” regarding their divorce. It seems like all she had to do was pay half of Jesse’s loan to make that happen.

“Jesse is always going to be family,” Michelle said in her confessional. “I’m always going to have to talk to him about Isabella. And I cared and adored and loved that man for a very long time.”

As for Nia? She mentioned the “double standard” in the friend group regarding her husband, Danny. Nia called out Jesse and Zack for drinking and causing scenes that were quickly forgotten. “I feel like with Daniel, he’s loud or annoying or whatever, and then we talk about it for like a week or two later,” Nia explained. Michelle asked, “Do you care if he drinks?”

Nia responded, “No. When him and I drink, 90% of the time, we’re having fun.” She acknowledged the “small amount of time” when Danny spoke to her disrespectfully, and she told him how she felt.

In her talking head, Michelle noted some similarities between Danny and Nia’s marriage and her marriage to Jesse. “When I was married, I used to do the same things when Jesse would yell at me,” she said. “I’m not sure if Nia is in denial, or she just doesn’t want anybody to know.”

Red flags are flying in The Valley

Brandon Hanson, Brittany’s boyfriend, brought her flowers. However, he failed to pick up her pain medication. Our Kentucky muffin was not pleased. Then, Kristen showed up to visit Brittany, just in time to watch Brittany and Brandon argue. Sadly, she didn’t bring her popcorn.

Apparently, Brandon decided to cut two days off his visit the next week because he had “stuff to do.” Yikes. “I just feel like I asked the bare minimum of Brandon, and since he had taken off work, which I could not believe I did this, but he asked if I could give him some money. I was like, ‘You know what? You’re going to come and take care of me,’” she explained in her confessional.

“But then he kept delaying the days and didn’t even get the pain medication.” Brittany added that her boyfriend “bought me flowers with the money I gave him. The icks are piling on.”

Then, Kristen performed a little tune in her talking head. “Red flags waving everywhere. Brittany, let him go. Bye!” she sang.

Later, Jasmine, Zack, and Jesse went out to a bar, and Zack was still stressed because of his roommate moving out. He has one table and four folding chairs left. However, Benji was finally moving in!

Eventually, the talk turned to why Kristen defended Danny and Nia so much. “It just made me feel like, ‘Why are they so receiving of her triggers?’” Jasmine said, referring to the conversation with Lala. “You’ve never once, in front of everybody, had my back on this,” Jasmine reminded Zack.

“Sometimes you are scared to say how you feel about Danny,” she added. According to Zack, he voiced his concerns about Danny. Then, she asked him to have this conversation with Danny directly, and Zack agreed.

The White Claw mystery

Jasmine went to visit Brittany, and the Vanderpump Rules alum was deep in party-planning mode. “The last few months with this group, a lot of people have been just like showing me a side of them that I didn’t really feel supported,” Jasmine said in her talking head. “I’m just thankful to have a friend like her in my life right now.”

However, Jasmine found an empty can of White Claw in the gym’s bathroom. No one had been around, except for Zack. Oh, and Nia and Danny were having a talk in Brittany’s bedroom during the pool party. Interesting!

“I do know that he told her that he didn’t drink that day, and he obviously was because we were playing beer pong,” Brittany said. Cue the footage from the pool party as Danny walked through the kitchen with his White Claw and headed upstairs. To boot, there was audio of Danny cracking it open and burping. How charming.

Jesse leads the charge against Brittany in The Valley

Jesse, Schwartz, and Danny met for drinks. The group was celebrating because Jesse and Michelle signed the settlement agreement! Of course, Schwartz gifted them a bottle of champagne because he is classy. Plus, Schwartz and Kiana Carroll were officially boyfriend and girlfriend. “And I love her,” Schwartz stated.

Then, the trio mentioned the incident in San Diego with Lala. “The whole thing was so blown out of proportion it was ridiculous,” Danny said. In his confessional, Jesse said, “I’m always going to go to bat for Danny and Nia. I think we all kind of look up to their relationship, and I don’t think it’s fair.” He added, “We all know what we’re in for when Danny goes to the dark side. But it’s mostly light.”

After the trauma from last summer, Danny admitted, “So if I do feel like, ‘Hey, I want to let loose a little bit. I want to have one more extra.’ I feel like I need to sneak it or hide it.”

In addition, Danny blamed Jax Taylor, Brittany’s ex, for his drama last summer. “Jax said, ‘I want to put a target on Danny’s back,’” Danny stated. “But you know who else went along with it? Brittany,” Jesse responded. “Brittany is skirting by. She gets away with everything,” he added.

Then, Jesse explained in his talking head that Brittany “was part of the mean girl group” that targeted his girlfriend, Lacy [Nicole]. “Stop bullying people and then hiding behind somebody else,” Jesse stated.

He wanted to call out people in the friend group who were causing problems. “Let’s go after the people who have no accountability,” Jesse told Danny.

Zack shows off his apartment in The Valley

Janet brought Brittany to her post-op appointment, where she saw her new breasts and her flat stomach for the first time. She started to cry when she looked in the mirror. “Oh, my God. It’s so different,” she said. “I’m so happy!”

Next up, it was time for Zack’s housewarming party. Without any furniture, the living room looked huge. Michelle had never been to the apartment before and was somewhat surprised. A producer asked her, “When was the last time you drank out of a red cup?” She replied with a laugh, “I don’t drink out of red cups.”

Then, Jasmine and Melissa showed up, followed by Jesse and Lacy. “I love what you’ve done with the place,” Lacy said, trying not to look shocked. “It gives millennial,” she said in her talking head. Next to arrive were Schwartz, Kiana, and their friend, Rachel.

Naturally, Kiana asked Lala if she and Schwartz were dating after their prank “soft” launch. “No,” Lala replied. Then she joked that she might steal Kiana away from Schwartz.

Interestingly, Lacy admitted that she doesn’t want to get married again. “You’ve tried to break up with Jesse a 100 times, and he’s not letting you go, because you have that money,” Michelle said in her confessional. “So, girlfriend, he will propose.”

While Danny told Nia that he was getting water, he instead poured some booze and soda into a cup. When Zack asked what he was drinking, Danny said, “Water.”

Finally, Zack made a toast, celebrating his friendship with Kristen. “There’s been multiple months where I haven’t been able to pay my rent,” Zack said. “People stepped in like Kristen and Brittany.” And with that, Zack transferred the money that he owed Kristen into her account.

The Valley airs Wednesdays at 8/7c on Bravo. Episodes will stream on Peacock.
