Little Women: Atlanta recap

Little Women: Atlanta will start just how it will end tonight – with an all-out food fight. I thought we had seen the worst of it when Ms. Juicy got a perfectly good plate of chicken wings dumped on her head by Minnie Ross’s mama after they couldn’t get along. But this cast just can’t leave well enough alone.

Last week, we saw Monie Cashette flinging anything that comes out of a bottle on the newly arrived Other Twins Hope and Charity after they called her out for food stamp fraud that happened years ago in a land far, far away (Texas, y’all). We start out in the same place we left off as last week but nothing new has really developed, outside of Monie’s poor fiancé, Morlin, being shown trying to wrangle in his wild woman and make sure she does not take the whole damn ship down with her.

Little Women: Atlanta recap

Little Women: Atlanta has been one fight after another this season and this episode won’t be any different. Let the accusations and drinks fly!

Ex best friends Monie Cashette and Minnie Ross have some unfinished business to handle and by business I mean nonsense. Minnie has been dying to fan the shade flames in another direction since she’s been questioned on another one of her tall tales this season. How can she get some of the heat off herself? By accusing Monie of not having dwarfism in front of their group of friends, which is pretty low.

On Little Women: Atlanta, the drama between the ladies has finally calmed down but that doesn’t mean you’re in store for a boring episode. There’s plenty going on to keep fanning the flames of entertainment down in the ATL.

Monie Cashette is still reeling from ex-best friend, Minnie Ross accusing her of not being a little person. Fiancé Morlin is both supportive and thoughtful in helping Monie through this as she decides to get tested for dwarfism. She has a 10 year old son living out of state with his father and while he is average sized, if Monie has dwarfism, he will also be carrying the gene. Monie wants to find out for her son’s sake, NOT Minnie, just to make that crystal clear.

Little Women: Atlanta recap

Last night’s episode of Little Women: Atlanta was just chock-full of awkward conversations and accusations.

We pick right back up with Monie Cashette throwing a romantic breakfast in bed all over poor fiancé, Morlin. Why is Morlin wearing scrambled eggs and orange juice, you ask? Because Monie is mad that he took her ex-best friend, Minnie Ross, to pick out her engagement ring. In Monie’s mind, he’s forcing her relationship with Minnie and she says it’s about respect. Clearly, Monie thinks respect in a relationship is a one way street, otherwise she probably wouldn’t have thrown food on the poor boy. Morlin is surprisingly calm about the whole thing and actually apologized TO her so they can resolve their argument and move on.

Little Women: Atlanta recap

There’s plenty going on this season of Little Women: Atlanta and we are only five episodes in. Now that the girls are back from Black Bike Week in Myrtle Beach, it is time to get down to business in the ATL. We’ve got babies to keep cooking, restraining orders to be filing, and engagement rings to be given.

The only gal still missing from action is Emily Fernandez, who is still in Dallas with baby JJ. Bestie Bri Barlup has been in touch and JJ seems to be getting stronger each day, but I think Emily will be understandably absent the whole season. Filling in is Bri’s new friend, Melissa, who already started off rocky with the ladies in Myrtle Beach and oh, in case you didn’t hear, she’s a model.

Little Women: Atlanta recap

The majority of the Little Women: Atlanta cast is still in Myrtle Beach for Black Bike Week and there is no shortage of trouble to get into.

But first, we join Emily Fernandez back in Dallas. She is out of the hospital and connecting with friends who aren’t throwing appetizers on each other. She meets her friend, who had a healthy baby boy around the same time JJ was born, which is really hard for Emily knowing that she can’t hold her son outside of a hospital. JJ is progressing but this is obviously still very emotional for Emily and she wishes that her boyfriend, Lontel, would be less of a douche and offer more emotional support. Good luck with that.

Little Women: Atlanta recap

On Little Women: Atlanta, the Great Wing Debate rages on.

In case you missed it, we ended last week’s episode with a puffed up Minnie Ross bringing her mom to do her dirty work at a meeting with Ms. Juicy. Minnie barely got in a few words of her own before her mom threw a whole plate of chicken wings on Ms. Juicy and stomped out. Now here we are, picking up the proverbial chicken wing pieces off the floor and wondering why a good plate of food had to go to waste (well, maybe you aren’t but I know I am).

Little Women: Atlanta recap

We are only on episode two of this season’s Little Women: Atlanta but the drama is already on level ten. Last season’s story line was whether or not Minnie Ross was in a relationship with unknown rapper, Pastor Troy, which she finally admitted to lying about by the end of the season. This season looks pretty similar, but the lie in question is if Minnie was ever actually pregnant with his baby.

Picking right back up at the Baby Shower of Shade, with Minnie stumbling her way through some pretty weak explanations about how she had a miscarriage, this all feels like really familiar territory for the women. When the questions get too tough, Minnie gets mad and storms out in a huff, dumping a plate of cookies on her way out. Amanda Salinas is the only one who runs out after Minnie and tries to comfort her while she cries outside. The other women clean up inside, grumbling the whole way.
