Real Housewives of Dallas fans witnessed the demise of D’Andra Simmons and LeeAnne Locken’s friendship during Season 3. There was a lot of tension between the long-time besties, which was spurred on by D’Andra’s mention that LeeAnne’s then fiancé (now-husband) Rich Emberlin was cheating on her.
D’Andra insisted that she was asking out of concern, but was that really the case? Or was she just trying to push that storyline along? Obviously, the two of them have very different views on how things went down last season (and so do the viewers). However, it seems like history will repeat itself during Season 4. Unfortunately.
The Real Housewives of Dallas is one of Bravo’s hidden gems. The show doesn’t receive the notoriety or attention that some of the other Housewife shows do, but that doesn’t diminish the fact that this show is the real deal. I’ve said it before–if you are not watching, you should, as the show is reminiscent of the other Housewife shows in their earlier years.
RHOD is headed into Season 4, believe it or not. Besides cast announcements and the season trailer, the one thing we all wait for at the start of the new season is the taglines being announced. Fortunately for us, the wait is over!
Can you believe that it is only a little over a week until the premiere of the Real Housewives of Dallas? If you are not watching this show, you should be. While some of the other Real Housewives shows have struggled with storylines and casting, RHOD has built up steam in its first three seasons.
One of the main storylines last season was the collapse of the friendship of LeeAnne Locken and longtime bestie D’Andra Simmons. D’Andra alleged that LeeAnne’s fiancé Rich Emberlin was cheating on her and LeeAnne alleged that D’Andra was having money problems. And that she maybe drank a bit too much sometimes. Unlike some Housewife drama that seems made up for the cameras, the fallout between LeeAnne and D’Andra seemed painful and personal. So, where do things stand between them today?
At the end of the last season of the Real Housewives of Dallas, we were left with many questions. Would LeeAnne Locken and long-time boyfriend-fiancee Rich Emberlin finally make it to the altar? Did Kameron Wescott achieve world domination of the pet food market with her odd pink dog food? Was Mama Dee Simmons really going to relinquish control of her cosmetics company to daughter D’Andra Simmons?
Lucky for us, we will soon be finding out the answers to our RHOD questions as the show is returning for Season 4. Each year, I cross my fingers that the show will be back and so far, my wishes have been granted. Thank you Bravo!
The Real Housewives of Dallas is one of the best kept secrets on Bravo. Although the show and its stars don’t always get the attention or recognition of some of the other Housewife shows, the cast usually delivers. The ladies have real money, throw real drama and they aren’t afraid to embarrass themselves on camera. Over and over. Isn’t that right, Brandi Redmond?
Last season, we watched the painful disintegration of the friendship of LeeAnne Locken and D’Andra Simmons. Stephanie Hollman touchingly shared her history of mental health issues and how she has worked to overcome them. Kameron Wescott continued to welcome us into her fabulous pink and sparkly world. Now, a new lady has been added to the cast of RHOD.
Fans are eagerly anticipating Real Housewives of Dallas Season 4. Confessional interview photos hit social media, which included all of last season’s cast members except for Cary Deuber. It seems like she got the Vicki Gunvalson treatment with a demotion to Friend of the Housewives status.
Ironically enough, it seems like she was replaced by someone who has the same first name, but with a different spelling. RHOD cast member Kameron Westcott hinted at the casting change. Even the new Real Housewives of Orange County star Braunwyn Windham-Burke got in on the social media hints.
Social media can say a lot about a reality TV show in between seasons. For the most part, it is very easy to confirm who is filming for the next season. Conversely, it’s a lot more difficult to determine who is not a part of the cast, or who got downgraded to a lesser role. There are some Real Housewives who don’t post too much while filming for the sake of revealing spoilers.
But, for the most part, the Housewives love sharing their lives with the fans. Recently, Real Housewives of Dallas stars LeeAnne Locken, Stephanie Hollman, Kameron Westcott, and D’Andra Simmons posted photos from Thailand. But what about Brandi Redmond and Cary Deuber? Those OG Real Housewives of Dallas cast members did not post about Thailand at all on social media. Are they saving the pictures for a #tbt post? Or did they not go on the vacation? If it’s the latter, does that mean they aren’t a part of the show?
Congratulations to LeeAnne Locken and Rich Emberlin! The Real Housewives of Dallas couple tied the knot on Saturday, April 27. And, it seems like they filmed the big day for Season 4. Or at least I hope they did since there were plenty of cast members present.
Plus, they did get engaged on the show. Why wouldn’t she film the wedding for next season? Especially after D’Andra Simmons and Brandi Redmond said it was never going to happen. And, no, it doesn’t seem like they attended. Or maybe they just kept the photos on the wraps for the sake of a storyline. But, it was most likely the first scenario.
