Shannon Beador in Jamaica

We all have Shannon Beador to thank for bringing the current season of Real Housewives of Orange County to another level. Sure, it has been so frustrating to hear her constant complaints which have inspired constant complaints from her costars about her complaints.

It all came to head during the cast trip in Jamaica when Shannon argued with every single cast member and disappeared the next day, ignoring all of their messages, ultimately skipping out on the group activities.

Emily Simpson defends her marriage

There’s no doubt that Shannon Beador is going through a lot with that nasty divorce from David Beador. Still, she is a Real Housewives of Orange County cast member and that does mean she has to interact with her fellow Housewives. Or at least she should.

It’s hard to have sympathy for Shannon when she refuses to acknowledge Gina Kirschenheiter and Emily Simpson’s existence. It’s just not a good look for her and it’s straight up rude. Shannon took things to another level during the last episode when she got into it with every single cast member.

Kelly calls Shannon out

Who thought that Kelly Dodd would become the voice of reason on Real Housewives of Orange County? No one thought that while watching her first season on the show, but that is who she has become. Well, she’s a voice of reason with occasional outbursts and scathing insults, but I’m going to chalk it up to her being a well-balanced person. She gives us variety! Most importantly, she is the only one who has provided us with consistent entertainment for the last two seasons of this show.

During the last episode, everything was about Shannon Beador. According to Tamra Judge, Shannon normally loves it when it’s all about her, but it’s obvious that she loved nothing about the Jamaica trip up to this point. Shannon argued with every single cast member, ripped off her mic pack, and skipped out on the group bobsledding. On top of that, she was stuck in a villa with no air conditioning. The trip had to be downright miserable for Shannon, but is she the true victim in all this? She is in her head, at least.

Tamra counsels Shannon

It’s been a LONG time since Tamra Judge and Shannon Beador have been at odds. Nevertheless, the tension between the besties has been building up all season Real Housewives of Orange County. Shannon is going through a lot, but Tamra feels like Shannon is all about her own life and her own problems.

It all came to a head during the last episode when Tamra did not stand up for Shannon after Gina Kirschenheiter asked if Shannon was a good friend. Tamra didn’t say a word, Shannon stormed off, and she went off on pretty much every cast member.

Gina Kirschenheiter Doesn’t Regret Putting Tamra Judge On The Spot With Shannon Beador

The last episode of Real Housewives of Orange County was the most interesting one we’ve watched all season. At first glance, we have Shannon Beador to thank for getting into it with every single cast member. However, she did have some support. Well, she didn’t actually have much support, but Shannon just isn’t the only one responsible for the madness that went down

After Shannon declared “I’m never not fun. Let’s just be clear, Tamra Judge pointed to Gina Kirschenheiter and said “You might want to ask this one.” Shannon went on another rant about her life and then the drama escalated. Gina called out Shannon for not checking on Tamra when her husband was in the hospital. Shannon insisted that she was a good friend and stated that Tamra would back up those claims. Tamra did not and then Shannon went off- on every person in the cast.

Shannon Beador in Jamaica

All season I’ve been thinking Real Housewives Of Orange County was boring, or not boring per se, but just… not living up to its potential. An under-achiever, even though the abilities were there. In short, these ladies were lacking in motivation, but then came Jamaica which turned out to be RHOC’s version of The Shining. These images will haunt your dreams, which is perfect for Halloween.

I am beginning to think Kelly Dodd is right about lots of things though. And that truly is a scary place to find yourself in, but Shannon Beador needs help. Is she really calling Kelly and Tamra Judge “all hours day and night” to cry and bemoan how hard it is to make kids’ lunches while also paying the water bill? Is this really going on!? Has Dr. Moon not drained Shannon’s lymphatic sad artery and given her cupping full of good vibes? Or maybe that’s what the vodka was for? Regardless, she’s been behaving this way since her first season on this show, divorce or no, and it’s time to do some soul-searching and re-evaluating.

Shannon in Jamaica

Even though the first episode of the Real Housewives of Orange County cast trip in Jamaica was a total bore, tonight’s episode just might make up for that thanks to Shannon Beador.

For the past few episodes, new Housewives Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter have been complaining that Shannon has no interest in being their friend. Episodes before that, Tamra Judge called out her bestie Shannon for being self-involved and not supporting her enough while her husband Eddie Judge endured health problems. During the first episode of the Jamaica trip, Tamra even told Emily and Gina that her husband feels she “enables” Shannon and that she “feels sorry for her.” Apparently that talk was enough ammunition for Gina who earns her orange for next season comes after Shannon during tonight’s episode.

Shannon in Jamaica

No one can deny that Shannon Beador is going through a lot these days with her tumultuous divorce. Nevertheless, it’s not as if she signed on for another Real Housewives of Orange County season against her will. She agreed to be on this show, and part of that should include interacting with all the cast members.

Shannon has made it clear that she has zero interest in Emily Simpson and Gina Kirschenheiter. Say what you want about the two new Housewives, but this just isn’t a good look for Shannon. Can’t she just give them a chance- on camera- and then decide that she wants nothing to do with them? Plus she’s giving them a storyline since they’re both complaining about how she won’t be friends with them in pretty much every episode.
