I cannot believe we’re already to the Real Housewives of New Jerseyreunion! Last night’s first installment of the ladies’ sit down with Andy Cohen was reality gold…and pewter and bronze and silver. Their gowns were like a medal ceremony in the Envy by Melissa GorgaOlympics. Also, whoever told Jackie Goldscheider that the attire was cleavage optional is clearly getting the last laugh. But at least Jackie’s least likely to have a wardrobe malfunction when being screamed at by the first eight seasons’ Teresa Giudice who throws tables punches instead of rolling with them. Shockingly, Jennifer Aydin has her girls under wraps as well, although she does arrive in a Rocky-style blinged-out boxing robe. Of course, she does.
Andy welcomes the newbies before questioning Teresa about Joe Giudice’s impending deportation. Teresa is clearly upset, but they table the discussion for later in the reunion. He continues schmoozing the RHONJ cast before complimenting Margaret Josephs’ facelift. He even gets Dolores Catania to admit to butt implants with her own fat. Jackie shares she had a tummy tuck after giving birth to two sets of twins. Margaret also reveals that she and husband Joe Beningo shower together every morning.
However, Melissa had to be jealous at least a little surprised that Margaret got the seat next to Andy Cohen. Then again, Melissa doesn’t have as many battles to fight this season. Margaret had it out with Jennifer, Teresa, and Danielle Staub, who will not appear on Part 1. Meanwhile, Melissa promoted her own store and took a genetic test to match with a “sister” that does not actually exist may or may not exist.
The biggest thing to look forward to now is the always dramatic reunion show. The Real Housewives of New Jersey always deliver come reunion time. Teresa manhandled rag dollAndy Cohen during the Season 2 reunion. Teresa went up against all of her costars for multiple seasons in a row at the reunion tapings. Last year, Teresa exploded on Kim D in a memorable confrontation. CLINK CLINK. Hopefully, they kept the drinks to a minimum (looking at you Jennifer!) because tensions will be running very high. Will the Real Housewives of New Jersey survive the reunion show unscathed?
With many Real Housewives shows on the decline with drama (looking at you Orange County and Atlanta), the New Jersey ladies have really come through for the viewers when we needed it most. Season 9 is the show’s best season in years. It’s not even over yet, but I cannot wait for the Real Housewives of New Jersey Season 9 reunion. Then again, I really don’t want it to end. I’m torn.
Who am I kidding? The reunion is going to be a screaming match. I’m so here for that. As of this moment, we don’t know exactly what they argued about discussed, but we did get some sneak peaks at their looks thanks to social media. I just want to know if anyone wore Jovani! Or is that more of a New York City Housewives move? Spoiler alert: there are A LOT of sequins. Oh And spray tans, of course.
I think Siggy Flicker cried once or twice. Just for some variety.
I don’t know if someone put fire ants in Tereas’s Spanx, or what, but she was on a tear last night. She was right back in the season four reunion, anger brimming over and making a big mess. She certainly let her zen slip, didn’t she?
“Jim was a self-made, successful man at a very young age. He has never done drugs and has never been in trouble with the law. He put himself through undergraduate, then through a Masters in Public Administration at Columbia University while working at a pharmaceutical company,” bragged Amber. “Jim was then accepted to law school and once again attended in the evening while working for a biotech company. In addition, Jim was raising his son, Michael.”
Are my eyes deceiving me?!? Has Amber Marchese written her shortest Real Housewives of New Jersey blog of the season? Yes, I think she has. Thank you, Jesus! In the blog, Amber schooled us about what happens at a reunion, questioned whether or not Dina Manzo has a heart, defended her use of “The Cancer” ad nauseam, and sided with Jacqueline Laurita in the messy Laurita/ Manzo family feud.
“Hello Housewife friends,” exclaimed Amber. “Welcome to the jungle baby! My first reunion was a wild ride. Call me sick and twisted, but I had an unbelievable time at the reunion when most, I have been warned, dread it. I felt like it was ‘The Great Purge’ and when I went home I felt relieved of any built up tension. I don’t care if anyone has a grudge against me, my slate is clean and I harbor no ill feelings towards anyone. I love to argue my point, and I truly stood by all of my convictions this season, so I was ready to say exactly what was on my mind, and then some.”
Jacqueline Laurita wasn’t able to attend the season six Real Housewives of New Jerseyreunion, so she took to Twitter to share her thoughts on the topics as it aired. Ugh. Raise your hand if you’re shocked. “Not on the reunion but I’ll probably tweet during it,” she tweeted before the show. Probably? HAHAHA!
