Real Housewives of New Jersey stars Jennifer Aydin and Margaret Josephs have been at each other’s throats all season. Margaret has criticized Jennifer’s tequila-fueled behavior at cast parties. Margaret also called out Jennifer for being a stay-at-home mother and tweeted that Jennifer “treats her husband as a meal ticket.” Of course, Jennifer responded on Twitter and called Margaret “slutty.”
RHONJ cast member Michelle Pais told Jennifer at Evan Goldschneider’s party that Joe Gorga was tardy paying some of his bills. Michelle claimed that Joe owed “tens of thousands of dollars” to her husband, Jon Steingraber. Jon spoke at Joe’s event, “Growing with Gorga,” and was supposedly never compensated.
Jennifer eventually told Joe’s wife, Melissa Gorga, and miraculously, Melissa wasn’t angry at Jennifer. No silverware or cheese platters were airborne.
During Teresa Giudice’s pool party, Joe took Jon aside for a chat. Joe denied owing Jon any money. Jon finally announced that it was some sort of misunderstanding and Joe didn’t owe him any cash. The entire situation seemed really sketchy to me.
Margaret, who is Melissa’s bestie, spoke out in support of Joe. “It’s inaccurate and, again, not true at all,” she stated. So, how does Margaret know this? “Anybody who comes with something from 18 months ago? It’s obviously not true. I think It’s crazy,” Margaret remarked. “My husband [Joe Benigno], Joe Gorga and Frank [Catania] work together every single week and there’s never been one issue with them.” I would love to see more of the Jersey husbands.

“Money flows freely between them and so I just think this comes out of left field. … It wasn’t very authentic or believable,” Margaret said. During the first part of the RHONJ Season 11 reunion, Jennifer dropped a bomb on her co-stars. She must have been saving this information for the reunion for maximum shock value.
Jennifer stated that Michelle’s reason for joining the franchise was to embarrass Joe Gorga and Melissa. And Jennifer claimed that Margaret told her that she and her husband, Joe B. also heard the rumor that Joe didn’t pay people. Wow!

On May 20, 2021 Jennifer tweeted, “I didn’t tell Melissa what Marge said b/c I knew if I did, then that would have prolonged the story on Joe’s business deals & I felt it was too serious & and not worth the backlash-after talking to Tre about it, I decided to let it die,” Jennifer wrote. “Then I saw a pattern how Marge talks behind them &” Jennifer included a shrugging emoji.

A fan responded, “You absolutely did the right thing! You didn’t want to pile anything else but then it became clear how calculating Marge really is, so you let it out.” The user added, “And of course I’m sure Melissa doesn’t believe you. if viewers can see through Marge then why can’t Melissa and Jackie [Goldschneider].” Jennifer tweeted a reply. “Because they want to be allies,” she wrote.
This isn’t the first time that Joe has been accused of some shady dealings. In February of 2020, Joe posted photos on Instagram of a home that he had supposedly flipped. The homeowner was shocked to see their house pictured since Joe hadn’t done any work on it. The post was eventually removed after Joe threw his social media manager under the bus.
