A source close to Jill reports that she is upset about Bravo featuring her on the series, but not offering her a contract. “Jill’s grown tired of making cameo appearances on the show without being offered an actual job,” according to mysterious “sources.”
Some question whether this surprising move was “just for the cameras,” but Jill has made it clear that she wanted Bravo to film at Bobby’s memorial, both to highlight her connection to former RHONY cast mates and because Bobby became known to many of us through his multiple seasons on the show. Jill said, “This was all about memorializing Bobby — [there was] no drama. It’s very sad for all. He was an important part of the show and a great friend to many who appeared on it.”
Jill took to Instagram tonight to share, “Rest In Peace my love. Words can not express the hole in my heart. Bobby taught me what true and deep love is. Thank you my love for sharing your life with me.. for raising Allyson as if she was your own, being an amazing father and grandfather and teaching me how to be a better person.”
Jill confirmed the news with a statement on her website: ““With the heaviest of hearts, we are devastated to share the news that our beloved Bobby Zarin passed away peacefully today surrounded by family after a courageous battle with cancer. There are no words to describe how heartbroken we are. Thank you, everyone, for all your love and support during this difficult time.”
It has been a tough few years for Real Housewives of New York alum Jill Zarin and her husband Bobby Zarin. Sadly, Bobby has been battling thyroid cancer with some ups and downs since 2009 which has to be strenuous for both of them. On the bright side, it appears their marriage is stronger than ever.
Although it’s been a difficult period for the couple, there is some nice news for them: they just celebrated their eighteenth anniversary, which is a big deal.
