Real Housewives Of Atlanta‘s “Chocolate Tales” have taken on Willy Wonkian-proportions. Apparently no one fact checked their golden ticket to drama before dipping a toe into the chocolate river. Are Housewives required the same due-diligence as researchers when regarding inner-personal matters of distorted rumors? Can one rely on Apollo for any sort of “evidence” – particularly in regards to “texes.” Never fear – Dr. NeNe Leakes has the cure!
According to Cynthia, she simply brought up the affair situation because they were having a group “conversation” and she wanted to know if it was true. If Phaedra is involved with Prince Chocolatier from the ChocAfrica, she should have just admitted it! Cause they would all be so accepting and supportive, uh-huh.
Porsha Williams is remaining loyal to Phaedra Parks and calling out Cynthia Bailey and Kenya Moore for spreading rumors about Phaedra allegedly cheating with the latest mysterious African, Mr. Chocolate. Porsha describes Cynthia’s actions as “awful” and warns her – karma is a’comin! Hasn’t karma already arrived and been calling itself “Peter“?
Accusing Cynthia of being “beyond out of line,” Porsha expected Cynthia to display some compassion to her fellow Real Housewives Of Atlanta co-star. “Cynthia has a daughter and husband herself; if it were her family being ripped apart she would expect nothing but prayer and support. However, she decided to completely try to slander and tear down a fellow sister at her toughest hour!”
We haven’t seen too much of Jim and Amber Marchese since the reunion episode of The Real Housewives of New Jersey. Last week they stepped out to attend the “Tinkerbell and the Legend of the Neverbeast” screening and then stopped off at Buca di Beppo for dinner (and some family photos).
Other reality star sightings: GG Gharachedaghi and Reza Farahanhung out at the Stock Exchange as they promoted the new season of Shahs of Sunset while Bethenny Frankel did the afternoon school run with Bryn. Lisa Rinna got in a good workout and Ramona Singer attended the premiere of “Cop Show” in NYC.
We also have new pics from Lisa Vanderpump, Rachel Zoe, Val Chmerkovskiy and many more!
On Monday, 1.55 million checked out the season finale of Vanderpump Rules, and a little over 1.3 million stuck around to see the season premiere of Shahs of Sunset. See the numbers below to see how the rest of the shows are doing.
So Phaedra Parks is a bit less, um, genteel this season, wouldn’t you say? Don’t get me wrong, she’s still wants to seem like a refined Southern Belle, but her words are more Mad Dog 20/20 even if her voice is as smooth as a mint julep. Come to think of it, most Southern ladies (myself included) can be that way, so maybe she’s right on point!
I do know, however, that the Real Housewives of Atlanta star’s next career path should be that of a tree farmer. Phaedra is all about the shade this season! Granted she’s been through a lot with the Apollo drama, but I think she may just be coming a bit more out of her shell! Ooh how she came at Kenya Moore on this week’s episode, and Krayonce wasn’t even wielding a bullhorn!
I will be the first to admit it – I never tire of the delusional ego of NeNe Leakes. I’m not sure why, but she amuses me to no end with her holier than thou attitude and ability to throw stones while living in a glass! Reflecting on this week’s episode of Real Housewives Of Atlanta, NeNe calls out Cynthia Bailey on the obvious and calls out other people -ahem, ahem Kenya Moore – on the hypocrite act!
Without naming too many names, NeNe alludes to the misdeeds of others. “It always amazes me how these ladies like to point fingers. It’s always somebody else’s fault rather than admitting, ‘Yeah I was wrong,’ or, ‘Maybe I shouldn’t have said that at that time,’ or, ‘Maybe I wasn’t there for her because I had my own problems going on,'” lectures NeNe, the Godmother of Housewives everywhere. “It’s always easy to point the finger at your girl NeNe and hope that no one will see their true colors!”
When asked about the Mr. Chocolate rumor, Claudia said, “I really don’t know Phaedra that much to comment on her personal life, but from the little bit I am privy to, I was surprised to hear about an alleged affair considering the extreme criticism that Kenya got.”
“At the end of the day, only two people know what really did or did not happen, and I would love for this group to reserve judgment on everyone until there is confirmation,” continued Claudia. “But I think a precedent had been set a long time ago, so that has opened the door to where we are now. I think it’s easy to believe something negative about someone in the group, because in the past it’s been shown that it takes very little actual evidence or proof for some to jump on that bandwagon.”
