Teresa took to Twitter to share a few snaps from the night and to gush about helping such a worthy cause.
I know that Teresa was involved with Nephcure before the Federal indictments were handed down, but I'm sure her new crisis PR management team, headed up by Wendy Feldman, is encouraging her to do anything that looks good right now.
Wendy spoke out yesterday to E!, explaining how she and Teresa got connected and why we should feel bad for the Giudices during this stressful time.
Teresa Giudice is having like the worst year in the history of bad years. I would say things can only get better but with her federal fraud trial scheduled to begin in February 2014, I don't believe that's true!
This week Teresa and husband Joe Giudice were charged with an additional two indictments for Bank Fraud and Loan Application Fraud, bringing the total number of charges to a whopping 41! FORTY-ONE counts, people! FORTY-ONE. Seriously – I am still in disbelief about the 39 original counts, my brain can't handle more! #CheckMyCharges
Oops, she did it again! Teresa Giudice and husband Joe are now being indicted for a total of 41 counts of fraud. The feds have added two NEW counts to the current charges!
The authorities shared today that the two additional counts are related to a $361,000 mortgage loan that Teresa took out in July of 2005. Teresa claimed on the loan application that she was employed as a realtor making $15,000 per month. But the fact is that Teresa wasn't even employed outside the home at the time!
Teresa's attorney says she will plead not guilty to these new charges as well. “As she did with respect to the allegations contained in the original Indictment, Teresa intends to plead ‘not guilty’ to the allegations in the new indictment. She looks forward to defending herself. … Beyond that, we will answer all of the charges in court, not out.”
Who cares about illegally obtaining a driver's license when you're facing 39 counts of fraud stemming from declaring bankruptcy? It seems as if Real Housewives of New Jersey'sJoe Giudice is never going to stand trial for allegedly using his brother's identification to get a driver's license when Juicy's was suspended.
While his trial was supposed to be this coming week, has been delayed yet again. Now Joe will have to face the music in mid-2014 after he stands trial for the federal fraud charges with wife Teresa.
There were rumors that this was going to be the first big event to be filmed for the new season, but we have confirmation that the event was not filmed for season 6 of The Real Housewives of New Jersey.
Tom Murro shared with us that his insider at the party said "there wasn't any drama or anything really noteworthy other than the fact that they all held hands and meditated at one point in the evening. Dina held Teresa's hand and they were acting like BFFs. Dina did smell like an English garden and had a trail of fairy dust behind her as she did the downward dog and everyone sang hallelujah just before they meditated… At least that's how I imagined it."
Chris Manzo and his brotherAlbie are expanding their business once again. The Manzo boys' partnership with restaurateurs Michael Sinensky and Sean McGarr of Funbars.com must be doing well with Little Town New Jersey because they are set to work with them on a new venture: the Victory Sports Bar and Club.
Chris and Albie's new bar will be a "Vegas style" sports bar at Meadowlands Racing and Entertainment, according to Us Weekly. The Victory bar is set to open in just a few weeks and then in April they plan to open a rooftop space, "Victory Terrace", which will have views of the city and table service. It's no bikini car wash, but it sounds like a winner.
Anyway, Teresa says she plans to continue with her career on Real Housewives of New Jersey and as for accusations that she's not taking her legal situation seriously, she said putting on a stoic face is all for the sake of her children.
“Look — every family has problems. Nobody’s perfect,” Teresa tells In Touch Weekly (does she have a contract with them again?!). “I have to be strong for my kids.” Yeah, nobody's perfect but most of us imperfect people manage to avoid allegedly defrauding the government of millions. Teresa and Joe have plead not guilty and plan to contest the situation in a trial scheduled for this February.
