I cannot get enough of Bravo. I wish that there was some sort of spin-off hybrid series about the Bravolebrities in between seasons. I would love to see people from different shows mingling, turning up after Watch What Happens Live, and whatever else happens before and after they post photos together on Instagram.
It is so difficult keeping track of the friendships on Vanderpump Rules. No matter what happens or what they say about each other, you never know where these people stand with each other on any given day. These cast members have to be the most forgiving people on the planet.
Kristen Doute never got along with Ariana Madix or Lala Kent in the past, but now she’s cool with both of them. Ariana started dating Kristen’s ex boyfriend and Kristen invited a girl that he allegedly hooked up with all the way from Miami to show up at SUR in Los Angeles and now these two are getting along after years of shading each other. Kristen and Lala never had a chance at friendship thanks to everyone else’s drama. Now, Kristen is on good terms with them and she opened up about that in a recent interview.
There is nothing worse than a professional reality star. You know what I’m talking about, because nearly every person on Vanderpump Rules now occupies that position. They fakely (yes I know that’s a fake word) work at SUR, they’re fakely are friends with each other, and they fakely pretend to care about causing drama in each other’s lives.
To point: last night’s episode was an amazing pile-up of so many [mostly fake] car crashes, I don’t even know where to begin, middle, and end.
The only two interesting things that happened were Scheana Marie going on a hunger strike until Merriam-Websters changes the definition of “perfect” to include a photo of her and Rob Valetta, and James Kennedy having a full-fledged meltdown about the supposed double-entendre of “ate her pasta.”
As much as I love watching Vanderpump Rules, I would enjoy it even more if the turnaround time between filming the season and the episodes airing was a lot quicker. I’ve been so intrigued by Lala Kent getting along with and hanging out with Katie Maloney, Stassi Schroeder, and Kristen Doute on social media after seasons of throwing shade. I just want to know how they got to this point where they are actually good friends, but unfortunately I am still waiting for those episodes to air.
Even though Lala was at odds with Kristen, Stassi, and Katie for some time, she has been cool with Scheana Marie for a while, so it’s pretty surprising to learn that Lala is not happy with the current state of their friendship.
Of course I don’t want the current Vanderpump Rules season to end, but at the same time, I cannot wait until the cast gets together for the reunion episodes. One reason is that it seems like almost every woman in this cast has issues with Scheana Marie and I want to see it all play out while they’re all spray tanned and glammed up.
Recently, both Scheana and her ex Robert Valletta blamed the Vanderpump Rules cast for their breakup, so it seems like the bad blood goes both ways. And I want to know why. I want to know every single thing that went down this season and I want to know now. Unfortunately, I have no insider information, but a recent interview with Scheana does make it clear where she stands with most of the other cast members. Well, it is at least clear where she stands with Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and Katie Maloney– i.e. not on good terms.
Watching Brittany Cartwright during her last appearance on Watch What Happens Live made me want to leap through the screen and give her a hug. It really seemed like she was on the verge of tears every single time Andy Cohen brought up Jax Taylor cheating on her with Faith Stowers– which happened for the entire half hour episode.
Thankfully she had Ariana Madix on hand for support. The two of them discussed Jax’s cheating (obviously), the allegations that Tom Schwartz made out with someone that wasn’t his wife Katie Maloney, and get ready for this: Ariana’s friendship with Kristen Doute. It is possible for every person on this show to get along (no matter what issues they have or what mean things they’ve done to each other) and it absolutely amazes me.
Of all the things that make ZERO sense about Vanderpump Rules, the two that stand out the most are Kristen Doute and Patrick – Stassi Schroeder‘s, Zen For The Douchebag’s Soul, sometimes-boyfriend. Yes, for me, this has overshadowed the tedium of Jax Taylor behaving atrociously and getting away with it. Again.
For instance, why is Kristen going to the opening of James Kennedy‘s See You Next Tuesday DJ gig at SUR? Doesn’t she despise her cretin ex boyfriend with the passion of a thousand disturbed bees? Don’t ALL of them actually hate James?! Hasn’t the hatred of James Kennedy been a storyline for, oh, I dunno – the past 3 seasons?! Apparently Kristen would go to the opening of an envelope, though, and when being on Vanderpump Rules is your only J-O-B…
There has been a lot going on with all of your favorite (and least favorite) reality stars this week, which means that Instagram was full of new photos. Jax Taylor got support from his Vanderpump Rules costars (past and present love interests) Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and Brittany Cartwright in Michigan at a “Celebration of Life” event to honor his father who recently passed away. Meanwhile Scheana Marie cozied up to (yet another) one of Brandi Glanville’s exes- Gerard Butler- and posed for a selfie with him, of course. She even claims that he was the one who insisted on taking the photo.
Real Housewives of New Jersey star Teresa Giudice celebrated her oldest daughter Gia Giudice’s birthday with the rest of her family. Gia’s aunt Melissa Gorga also shared a photo with a sweet caption in honor of the big day. Margaret Josephs and her man Joe Benigno (the THIRD RHONJ husband named Joe) enjoyed a date night with friends. RHONJ alum Dina Manzo shared a selfie with her daughter Lexi.
