Andy Cohen Says Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Cast Is “A Group Of MVPs” After Lisa Vanderpump Exit

Shine bright like a diamond! There’s no denying that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills is on fire this season. After a couple of controversial years, the ladies of the 90210 are back at the top of their game. Andy Cohen seems to agree.

In a wide-ranging new interview, the Bravo boss shared his opinion about the current cast. He dished on how the show was able to successfully navigate past Lisa Vanderpump‘s unceremonious exit.

“I think what’s great about the show this season is, I know that a lot of [LVP‘s] fans didn’t like it that — they felt like she was kind of the focus of a lot of drama that they didn’t want her to be involved in,” Andy told Entertainment Tonight. “So, I think it’s great that the women were able to move in their own directions. They’re certainly a group of MVPs.”

MVPs is right. After putting Lisa Vanderpump’s lies and behind-the-scenes manipulations over Season 9’s PuppyGate behind them, the RHOBH cast has delivered week after week.

Erika Jayne‘s let her guard down. She even down in tears multiple times as she prepares for Broadway. Dorit Kemsley shot down the financial scandals that have dogged her for years in the tabloids by addressing them head on in her confessionals. Newbie Sutton Stracke‘s unfiltered opinions have already caused a fair share of drama, even bringing Teddi Mellencamp to tears by calling her boring.

Last week, Denise Richards squared off against Kyle Richards out of nowhere, sparking the most surprising feud of the season thus far. And we’re only six episodes in… I mean, we haven’t even gotten to any of the Denise/Brandi Glanville drama yet!

It looks like the show didn’t actually need its self-proclaimed queen to survive after all. “There’s a lot going on this season without Lisa and, you know, it’s great,” Andy concluded. “It’s a whole energized show and people are really loving it and the ratings are up.”
