For the most part, pretty much nothing happened during the most recent season of Real Housewives of New York. Dorinda Medley belittled Tinsley Mortimer until Tinsley quit in the middle of the season. Leah McSweeney got wasted and threw tiki torches, raviolis, and whatever else she could pick up (and toss) for attention. She’s currently sober, so, it’s fair to assume that she will not be throwing objects next season.
But, what were the actual storylines? Yes, these women are so funny, but there was really nothing happening. No wonder they decided to shake up the cast. Elyse Slaine will not be back to continue her feud with Ramona Singer. Dorinda got fired after a season with very few redeeming moments. Eboni K. Williams was hired as the first Black cast member in Real Housewives of New York history. And, now it seems like Heather “Holla” Thomson might be back. Or at the very least it seems like she filmed a lunch scene with Luann de Lesseps and Ramona.
Ramona posted a photo of herself, Heather, and Luann with the caption “Great lunch today with the girls.” The cast is currently filming, so it seems like we are in for another Heather cameo. I just can’t imagine Heather hanging with Ramona and Luann if she wasn’t getting a paycheck or some sort of exposure.
One fan responded to the photo with “Queen Ramona looking fab! I hope Heather is joining y’all this season!” Another person wrote “Omg is HEATHER HOLLAAAAAA back on RHONY?!”

One viewer asked “Is Heather back on the show?” A different person demanded, “Bring heather back!!!!” Someone else quoted Heather, simply writing, “Hey Mamas!”
A Real Housewives of New York fan commented, “Please tell me Heather is back.” Meanwhile, another Instagram user had the complete opposite opinion, writing “Please tell me holla heather is not coming back…”

And, of course, there were a lot of people pointing out that Ramona was wearing her mask incorrectly.
