While they don’t have many fans these days, I can honestly say I’ve never seen a relationship like Braunwyn Windham-Burke and Sean Burke’s during their time on Real Housewives of Orange County. And I don’t mean that in a good or a bad way. Braunwyn came out as a lesbian on the show, after spending her first season making out with Tamra Judge whenever she got a chance. We saw her get sober, get a girlfriend, hit her husband, and more in just two short seasons. Truly, it was a lot to digest. And yet she still wonders why she got fired alongside Kelly Dodd. Girl, just watch the re-runs.
Braunwyn is a lot and a lot of people don’t understand it (namely Gretchen Rossi and Vicki Gunvalson). She and Sean tried to have an open relationship but decided to try a trial separation. Brauny was dating a woman named Kris, until they split after 5 months. It sounds like Braunwyn was kind of banking on Kris for a Season 16 storyline and once that crumbled, Bravo decided to hire her (former) friends. Yikes.
Now, Braunwyn is apparently dating Fernanda Rocha. Yes, Tamra’s Fernanda. It’s clear she’s the next best thing to Tamra, as we all know Braunwyn has a big ol’ crush on Tammy Sue. But in a strange turn of events, Kris has been connected with another former reality star in a similar marital situation.
Think back to 2010 when the best show on TV was Pretty Wild, in my humble opinion. It was only one season but gave so much to the reality TV-verse. Alexis Neiers, now Alexis Haines, was filmed as the infamous Bling Ring robberies were being investigated. And now that she’s gotten past that rough time (and also gotten sober), Entertainment Tonight reports she’s dating Kris. While still being married to her husband Evan Haines. What a coincidence.

Alexis has been posting photos of herself and Kris looking very coupled-up on her Instagram story. People were confused, as she’s been married for several years and has two children. But during an Instagram Story, she explained that she’s still “happily married” while having a girlfriend on the side. Kris is apparently allowed to date other people, as is Evan, so Alexis is just open AF. Good for her.
She said she’s “infatuated” with Kris at the moment, but balances her time with her girlfriend, her husband, and her kids as best she can. And everyone in the situation is aware of the situation, so you can’t hate consenting adults doing their thing. It’s more shocking that Alexis shares so many similarities with Braunwyn outside of Kris. Maybe Alexis could join RHOC to give us an inside look into her atypical relationship because I, for one, am fascinated.
