Jen Shah’s Husband, Sharrieff Shah, Declined An Invitation To Appear On Real Housewives Of Salt Lake City Season 4

Have we really seen the last of the Shahs on the Real Housewives of Salt Lake City? The cameras are rolling for Season 4, and although Jen Shah is behind bars, it sounds like the producers were allegedly still trying to keep her storyline alive on the show. According to Page Six, the producers were looking to film scenes with her husband, Sharrieff Shah, to get his reaction to Jen’s sentencing.

Of course, Jen is in the slammer for six and a half years thanks to her leading role in a nationwide telemarketing scheme. Despite claiming her innocence on RHOSLC, Jen pleaded guilty and is serving her sentence. With a Jen-sized hole in the RHOSLC cast, the producers were reportedly scrambling to continue telling her story on the show. So, they reportedly turned to her husband, Coach Shah, to try to bridge the gap.

A source told TMZ that the producers wanted Coach Shah to meet up with the other Salt Lake City husbands. They wanted Sharrieff to open up about how he’s handling his wife living behind bars. However, he reportedly declined to participate because of how Bravo treated Jen after her guilty plea.

A rep for Bravo declined Page Six’s request for comment.

If you recall, Jen’s guilty plea came around the time that Season 3 of Real Housewives of Salt Lake City was winding down. As an audience, we followed the case all the way from the initial arrest to the guilty plea. Some of us wanted to hear from her at the Season 3 reunion to get some closure. But, Bravo rescinded her invitation once she entered her guilty plea.

Jen shared on Instagram at the time, “On September 14, 2022, I was informed by Bravo executives that I was not invited to attend the Season 3 Reunion. I was disappointed because I would have no venue to confront inaccuracies and address my storyline with cast members.”

Later, Andy Cohen suggested that he hoped to have a one-on-one sitdown with Jen before she left for prison. That plan fizzled out, leaving RHOSLC fans with unanswered questions from Jen. Recruiting Sharrieff to film with the other husbands seems like Bravo’s last-ditch effort to tell the Shahs’ story on RHOSLC. That train has officially left the station. However, Jen has been sharing journal entries on Instagram for those curious about how prison is treating her. She said she’s “determined” to “emerge from this experience a better person.” Let’s hope so.
