Real Housewives Of Beverly Hills Star Erika Jayne Looks Forward To New “Chapter Of [Her] Life” With Las Vegas Residency

With so much fun and/or engaging drama going on in the Bravo universe, AKA #Scandoval, I haven’t at all missed the surface-level tea of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. The show’s been alienated from its good old days for plenty of seasons. Truthfully, I place some of the blame on Erika Jayne and her glam squad. Erika keeps it 100 — as in 100 percent superficial. Honestly, the divorce/legal drama involving the (allegedly) fraudulent Tom Girardi was the most interesting thing to happen to her since her fashion choices. And in the grand scheme of things, it wasn’t an overly memorable season.

It’s why the news that RHOBH “pop star” Erika Jayne is hitting the Las Vegas strip is far from surprising. Erika dropped the news about her residency at the one, far from the only, House of Blues on Page Six’s Virtual Reali-Tea podcast. Claps for Erika? I wonder what strings Erika (again, ALLEGEDLY) pulled to fund this smoke and mirrors show. The stage is essentially a natural habitat for Erika. Her entire life is nothing but a performance. The girl barely has loyalty toward her so-called friends. It’s really just the Erika Jayne show to her.

To be clear, the shade is absolutely no hate toward Las Vegas. The town is full of coveted tickets to amazing performances (and a historic location on Vanderpump Rules). I’m just skeptical that Erika’s “Bet It All On Blonde” is one of those shows. You can feel free to call me a hater. Erika spoke the Page Six‘s podcast all about her favorite topic — herself. “It’s great to have this chapter of my life,” Erika said. “How would I start it any better? We’re wrapping up that and onto this now.” Let’s be clear the “that” she’s referring to is the alleged victims of Tom’s deceitful legal practices that ALLEGEDLY funded Erika’s lavish life. So, I guess I’m supposed to feel excited for Erika that she’s crawled from Broadway to a Vegas residency after some truly grotesque behavior? Karma is truly an astounding force.

“Going through what I went through the last couple years really stole my creativity,” Erika explained. “It’s hard to be creative and inspired when there’s such heavy things,”

Frankly, it sounds like Erika is just happy to have SOMETHING other than the ALLEGED trauma of Tom’s victims to feature as a storyline on RHOBH Season 13. Now, it also seems like a good time to remember that Tom’s legal woes are far from over. Thankfully, she won’t have Lisa Rinna around to fight her battles anymore. I’m already anticipating the upcoming RHOBH girls’ trip to Vegas to support Erika. I can only hope Garcelle Beauvais and Co. are ready to throw as much shade toward Erika’s little act as I managed to do in less than 500 words.
