Pump Rules Fans React to New Season 11 Intro

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules has officially arrived, and with a new season comes a refreshed intro. The VPR opening sequence has become iconic for showing slow-motion drone footage of the cast in their various bars and restaurants across West Hollywood.

For the new season, the opening sequence received a total update for a post-Scandoval world. Bravo shared a teaser of the new opening sequence ahead of the Season 11 premiere, and Pump Rules fans had some serious thoughts about the updates.

VPR Season 11’s brand-new intro

The opening sequence starts with Katie Maloney and Ariana Madix inside their sandwich shop, Something About Her. Posing in front of a table of sandwiches, the girls look glamorous, and Ariana is holding a teacup.

The next shot in the sequence takes us into TomTom, with Tom Sandoval and Tom Schwartz standing across from each other at the bar. Finally, the drone flies over to SUR and captures clips of the rest of the cast, with Lisa Vanderpump closing things out.

In the comment section, VPR fans had some hilariously shady reactions to the new intro. One thing that stood out to everyone was the lack of spilling drinks. You can’t do a Vanderpump Rules intro without a bunch of Pumptinis spilling everywhere.

The fans weigh in

Notably, another thing missing from the intro was Schwartz & Sandy’s. The Toms’ latest business venture was nowhere to be found in this intro. After spending all of that time and energy on the restaurant, several fans wondered about its absence from the opening sequence.

One fan commented, “IN: Something About Her. OUT: Schwartz & Sandy’s.”

Meanwhile, some commenters didn’t think it made sense to include Something About Her over Schwartz & Sandy’s. A fan wrote, “The Tom’s have 2 operating restaurants. The girls have none yet it’s featured in the opening credits? Hmmm.”

LVP wasn’t exempt from the fan feedback either. A lot of fans were hoping to see her throw a purse like in previous intros. One person just wanted to see her switch up the outfit. They wrote, “Lisa has been in that same outfit since 2013.”

Luckily, one thing that didn’t change for Season 11’s intro was the iconic theme song, “Raise Your Glass.” They can take away Schwartz & Sandy’s. They can take away the spilling drinks, but they could never take away Dena Deadly’s classic bop.

Season 11 of Vanderpump Rules airs on Bravo, Tuesday nights at 8/7c.
