In the early days of Vanderpump Rules, we met Scheana Shay. Back then she was known as the “homewrecker” who had naughty times with Brandi Glanville’s then-husband. But that was about five faces ago. Scheana went from burgeoning pop princess, to wife, and then back to
bunny boiling stalker single.
Viewers watched as her doomed marriage to Mike Shay fell apart amidst claims of substance abuse and living in Scheana’s shadow. During a tense conversation in the Season 5 reunion, Scheana obsessively checked her make-up while Shay was strung up for further public humiliation. It was relatively brutal to watch and many viewers didn’t blame Shay for
living Valley of the Dolls retreating into his own world. Scheana had already moved on and we haven’t heard much from Shay since then. After such a nasty and public falling out, could these two former lovebirds ever find peace and closure after such a long term relationship?
Bravo is giving out Christmas and Hanukkah gifts early this year because TONIGHT is the season premiere of Vanderpump Rules Season 7. Bring on the pasta – which is what it’s all about, right? Anyway, before we dive into a new season of super dramas, let’s revisit all the chaos from last season.
Without a doubt the three (or maybe four or possibly even 5) biggest dramas from last season were: Jax Taylor cheating on Brittany Cartwright, James Kennedy and Lala Kent ending their friendship accord over pasta (and Though Who Shall Not Be Called Anything Less Than Perfect, Randall Emmett), and Tom 1 & Tom 2 finally growing up to become bar owners with the opening of Tom Tom. Of course in between all that there were accusations that James cheated on Raquel Leviss with both his BFF Logan Noh and possibly Kristen Doute. Then there was Stassi Schroeder finally revealing PATRICK to the world… We wish she’d kept that shit covered. And of course, Scheana Marie had her Super ROB, ROB, ROB, ROB… This is the song that never ends.
SO let’s dive in.
Thanks to Vanderpump Rules, the employees at SUR, Villa Blanca, Pump, and Tom Tom are the famous faces bringing in the tourists.
Even so, there are plenty of celebrities that dine at those restaurants. Scheana Marie shared an anecdote about one of her favorite customers back when she worked at Villa Blanca: Drake. Yes, that Drake.
The Vanderpump Rules viewers saw Scheana Marie’s marriage with Mike Shay from start to finish. Then she jumped right into a highly-talked-about relationship with Rob Valletta. Now there are rumors that she’s dating fellow SURver Adam Spott.
Adding to that speculation are the many photos and videos of Scheana and Adam on social media. So are they dating? Are they just friends? Are they something in between? We probably won’t get any real answers to those questions until Vanderpump Rules returns for Season 7, but Scheana is answering questions about her relationship status.
As always, I think the Secrets Revealed episodes are better than most of what we’ve seen throughout season. And Vanderpump Rules was no exception!
Jax Taylor is totally having a pre-midlife crisis. He’s too old for a quarter-life crisis (let’s be honest, no one expects him to live to be 120 years old) and technically he’s too young for a mid-life crisis, so he’s in a 2/3 life crisis, which means having 400 birthday parties dedicated to doing things kids should do. Like the trampoline park where Tom 1 suggests they play dodgeball on teams of Jax plus all the women he’s slept with, vs. Tom and all the people Jax hasn’t slept with! Bouncing boobs of many incarnations (Jax being the biggest boob of all).
Actually, it was the season of Jax, and, it was totally too much Jax (his shenanigans have overstayed their welcome), but here we go again! At least for the last time.
Even though there are 984848438 stars of Vanderpump Rules, a lot of the chatter centers around two people that aren’t even cast members: Scheana Marie’s ex-boyfriend Rob Valletta and Lala Kent’s man Randall Emmett.
A lot of the conversation comes back to Rob since he was Scheana’s favorite thing to talk about all season long. Lala’s boyfriend has never even appeared on camera, yet he was a major part of Lala’s storylines for the past two seasons. Now the Vanderpump Rules cast members are sharing their opinions about their costars’ (current and former) significant others.
Your favorite (and least favorite) reality TV stars were all about the family time this week with their Instagram posts.
Beverly Hills Housewife Kyle Richards and Mauricio Umansky took their daughter Sophia Umansky to explore Washington, D.C. before she goes off to college. Kylie Jenner and her newborn daughter Stormi Webster enjoyed a vacation. Teen Mom’s Farrah Abraham vacationed in Fiji with her daughter Sophia Abraham. Jenelle Evans’ sons went fishing with her husband David Eason. Real Housewives of New Jersey star Melissa Gorga celebrated her son Joey’s birthday with her husband Joe Gorga and their other children. Fredrik Eklund celebrated his birthday with husband Derek Kaplan and their twin babies. Scott Disick shared a photo with his oldest son Mason Disick.
Even though she has been on Vanderpump Rules since Season 1, Scheana Marie has always been an outsider among the cast members. Scheana is either trying to gain the friendship and approval of Stassi Schroeder, Kristen Doute, and Katie Maloney or talking shit about them with nothing in between.
It seemed like Scheana finally found her own close friends in Ariana Madix and Lala Kent, but now that the two of them are on better terms with the Witches of WeHo- aka Stassi, Kristen, and Katie- how does Scheana feel about that? Scheana and Ariana are still cool, but that is not the case for Scheana and Lala. Not only that, but Scheana credits herself for getting Lala back on the show after she walked away from it during Season 5.
