Sheree Whitfield cannot catch a break, which is why she’s BROKE! As I’m sure you’re well aware She By SheBroke is always in debt to someone or dealing with some sort of financial shenanigan, yet she always perseveres and remains hopeful that she’ll land that enigmatic 7-figure divorce settlement from her ex Bob Whitfield.
Well, you ain’t gonna get no check boo! It turns out Bob filed Chapter 13 bankruptcy back in 2011, claiming while his assets were worth a total of $1.07 million he had over $600,000 in liabilities – including the former Real Housewives Of Atlanta star! Bob told the courts that he was living off NFL disability checks from his many years as an Atlanta Falcon and earning only $3,455.00 per month.
In recent photos taken on vacation with Phaedra Parks,Kandi has been hiding her ring finger in almost every shot, which can only lead us to believe one thing: Kandi and Todd are engaged and not publicly announcing it yet!
The reason for the secret? Apparently their engagement was filmed for an upcoming episode of RHOA and is rumored to be the season finale.
Well, well… lookee here! She by SheBroke is She by SheNotAsBroke. Hopefully that son of her's will be trading in that air mattress for a real, live mattress. Although, truth be told an air mattress is pretty comfortable.
So, it would appear that the many years long child support case between Sheree and Bob Whitfield (which was heavily featured in Sheree's final season of Real Housewives of Atlanta) has finally come to an end. TMZ reveals that a judge granted Sheree $75k – and he has 21 days to pay up or else!
According to court documents Bob was remiss for 38 months of child support payments to the tune of $2,142 per month for the two children he shares with Sheree. Bob claimed he was to Bob By HeBroke to afford them, despite being an ex-NFL player (who signed a $30M deal with Falcons in 2000) and something of a music mogul who sold a successful recording studio.
Rumor has it that Sheree Whitfield, one of the original Real Housewives of Atlanta cast members, has been fired! Media TakeOut (or Media FakeOut as some call it) were the first to report the news, with other blogs falling in line – including Vibe Magazine! As usual, Bravo and Sheree herself have remained silent.
Media TakeOut reports that Bravo flew Sheree out to New York for the Bravo Upfronts (where the network parades its stars around and shows off their new lineup for advertisers, a very important event) and supposedly fired her in person. MTO writes:
“And we’re told that Sheree didn’t take it too well. You see, the producers FLEW HER OUT to NY, with the other castmembers to take part in the BRAVO UPFRONT PARTY, in NYC. But before the event, Bravo told her that she was fired. And word is that Sheree BURST INTO TEARS and started BEGGING to keep her job, saying that she NEEDED THE MONEY and everything.
Oh, but DON’T expect a confirmation from ANYONE until AFTER this seasons reunion show. Even though EVERYONE knows, they have a CONFIDENTIALITY CLAUSE which prevents them from discussing it. (So if Sheree wants her last few checks, she’s gonna keep her lips ZIPPED too).”
Here is where I have trouble believing this story. Why would Bravo pay to bring Sheree up to New York, get her a hotel room, fire her, and then still expect her to attend the events? It doesn’t make any sense.
On her Twitter, Sheree posted that she was on vacation, “I’ve been on a week long vacation with my children in the Caribbean. Back to Atlanta in a couple of days.” It’s incredibly odd that not only was Sheree on vacation during the Upfronts, but Teresa Giudice and Kim Zolciak were also on spring break as well. Although, the night of the event Andy Cohentweeted an older photo of him with Teresa, saying that he missed her! A photo of Sheree on vacation is below.
Even Straight From The A, a usually solid source of Atlanta gossip, is speculating publicly on Sheree’s status. She says that her sources told her Sheree “would be Lisa Wu’d next season (i.e. would appear at the start of the season, but would slowly disappear as the season went on). But now the talk is that Bravo already sent her packing.”
That might be a bit more credible; that she would be phased out like other fired housewives, as opposed to being fired. Sheree’s storyline has always been flimsy at best. She By Sheree was always a vanity project/joke, and the Bob Whitfield child support plotline from this past season was also clearly a farce. Sheree has always been a supporting player.
Sister2Sister Magazine is reporting that Sheree’s firing was related to a salary dispute – and because she alienated many of her co-stars, including NeNe Leakes! According to their sources, NeNe earns a whopping $750k per season to stir up the drama. Then she is pretty rich, indeed! While it’s not sure how much Sheree earns, it’s certainly much less. Reportedly, Sheree, who has also been on the show since the first season, asked for a salary increase and Bravo denied her!
“The way Bravo operates is that they don’t tell you [anything]. So, I don’t know. I heard people talking about it, but until one of the producers tells me, I don’t know it for a fact,” the insider clarifies. Adding, “If she’s dropped … she’s in a f_cked up place right now.”
Sheree tried to prove her worth this season by stirring up drama over the cast trip to Africa, but Bravo apparently wasn’t interested (and neither are the viewers!). Allegedly, She by Shebroke is very concerned about her future with the series, as she really hasn’t profited from her appearance on the show! Anyone else want to know what became of that exercise video she was supposedly working on?
“Once it’s over, you gotta have money coming in,” said the source. “She had four years to be on [‘Real Housewives of Atlanta’]. She couldn’t come up with something? She didn’t put no money away?;” the source wonders.
VIBE Vixen has a theory that Sheree was fired to make room for Marlo Hampton, but it’s already been made very clear that Marlo isn’t returning to the show. In an interview with Wetpaint about Marlo’s drama antics during the reunion, Kandi Burruss says, “I think she was trying to get a job and stay on Housewives because right now, she’s NOT a housewife. But it doesn’t look like she accomplished anything because she’s still not a housewife, and I don’t think she ever will be.” Way harsh, Kandi! But most likely true.
Whether or not she’ll return for season five, we still have a bit more Sheree to watch on tonight’s season four finale for Real Housewives of Atlanta. It’s almost the end of what seemed like an endless season. Below is a preview of tonight’s episode, featuring Kandi unveiling a product from her Bedroom Kandi line! Will our favorite male stripper re-appear at Kandi’s launch party? We’ll have to watch and see.
Real Housewives of Atlanta‘s Season Finale airs tonight at 9/10c on Bravo!

With Kim and new husband Kroy Biermann gaining their own spin-off on Bravo with Don’t Be Tardy for the Wedding (brilliant!), one cast member isn’t sharing in Kim’s success. Nene Leakes, 44, who had her share of pseudo-success outside the Bravo bubble with her stint on Celebrity Apprentice, is reportedly less than thrilled about her former friend’s new found projects.
Sheree Whitfield tells Us, “When Kim told me she was getting her own show, in the back in of my mind, I was like, I don’t know if someone else is going to be too happy. Especially when she thinks that she’s the star of the show.” Whoever could she be referring to in those statements? Sheree even goes as far as to suggest, “I’m sure Bravo hears about it every day.” Sounds like Kim doesn’t even need to get in the ring, as she’s got Sheree “checkin'” Nene for her!
In fact, a report came out earlier this year stating The Nene was threatening to quit the RHOA if Bravo didn’t offer her a spin-off stat!
Speaking of Sheree, the 41-year-old designer also opens up to the magazine about her ongoing battle over child support with ex-husband and former pro NFL footballer Bob Whitfield, 40. The couple has been disputing Bob’s contributions (which according to Sheree are non-existent) to the pair’s two children Kairo and Kaleigh. Sheree, who for a brief period enlisted the legal prowess of cast member Phaedra Parks, shares, “We’re still going through [the courts].”
Sheree believes she has reason for her extreme frustration, revealing, “[Bob’s] telling the judge, ‘She has money. I don’t work. I’m retired for X amount of years.'” Um, it doesn’t matter how much either party is making — both of them created those children! Both are responsible for supporting them. She rants (understandably), “He’s healthy! Go get your ass a job!” You tell him! Sheree believes that Bob is extremely “cocky” about the fact he’s not making payments. That’s not good!
Finally, the magazine reports on purported tension between newlyweds Peter Thomas, 51, and Cynthia Bailey, 44. As you all remember, Cynthia just proudly opened her own modeling agency… while husband Peter critiqued her every move and left before his wife could even welcome the crowd. Peter isn’t the most beloved househusband (unless you’re Nene!), as he’s given negative interviews about his wife’s friends and got into a verbal altercation with Phaedra’s husband Apollo Nida at Kim’s baby shower! The nerve!
While on the episode Cynthia was very upset by her husband’s unexplained absence, Peter gives his side of the story to Us, stating, “I left because I was extremely tired. I didn’t think I would hurt Cynthia’s feelings. I am one hundred percent supportive of everything she does.” As for offending his wife’s cast mates, “If what I say rubs them the wrong way, that’s their problem!” That is one way to look at it, I guess.
WHAT DO YOU THINK OF THE US WEEKLY REPORTS? IS NENE JEALOUS OF KIM’S SPIN-OFF? SHOULD BOB BE PAYING CHILD SUPPORT TO SHEREE? THOUGHTS ON PETER’S “SUPPORTIVE” HUSBAND ACT?
After Phaedra agreed to represent Sheree in her child support case with ex-husbandBob Whitfield, the ladies eventually decided to end their professional relationship amicably as Sheree felt Phaedra was outsmarted by her ex in court. Many felt Sheree was ungrateful as there was nothing Phaedra could have done to prevent her ex from filing an order of contempt against her.
During her appearance on the Watch What Happens Live Aftershow on Sunday night, Sheree went into more details about why she felt Phaedra didn’t represent her well. Sheree’s defense is that Phaedra volunteered to file a contempt motion on her behalf (didn’t she tell Phaedra NOT to file???), but Bob beat her to the punch two weeks later because Phaedra was waiting to get clearance for Bravo cameras.
“I never met with Phaedra outside of your cameras. So to me when I’m meeting with her, and I’m saying this is my life. Like even if the cameras are not there, what you’re supposed to do, I still need you to do it,” said Sheree.
Sheree also talked about Phaedra’s employees hounding her to get the retainer. “I love Phaedra. I didn’t want to end it in a bad way but it didn’t sit well with me when it kind of made it seem like they were hounding me, asking me, trying to get this money when that is not the case. When Phaedra asked me for the money, it was the day before… She had her people call me… I get a phone call. They’re like we need the money. I never got a contract. I never got any kind of paper work,” said Sheree.
“The money part came in after Bob filed because it takes it to a whole other level. Before it was something very simple when she volunteered to file the contempt but she never did it because the cameras couldn’t get to her in time,” continued Sheree.
Sheree adds that by the time they went to court a month later, Phaedra had still yet to file anything. “The only time Phaedra and I met off camera was with another attorney who is a family attorney who was actually coaching her on how to handle my case,” added Sheree.
And on the actual WWHL show, Sheree fired back at the criticism that she shouldn’t be suing for child support if she can afford expensive items such as a Hermes bag, designer clothes and a Porsche to replace her old seized Bentley.
“This is the ignorant thing that I hate to hear people say,” said Sheree. “Why are you fighting for child support? First of all, I did not make these kids by myself. We did this together. So I shouldn’t have to fight you to be responsible for your kids.”
Meanwhile, Sheree also debuted her new song “Who Gon Check Me Boo” on WWHL. Some are calling it a diss track to her costarNene Leakes though Sheree denies the allegations. We’ll let you be the judge! Below is Sheree’s song!
In other RHOA news, former show extra cast member Dwight Eubankswas arrested yesterday.
MyFoxAtlanta reports the arrest was made after a traffic stop where Dwight told the cop he didn’t have his driver’s license on him. The cop conducted a check and discovered Dwight’s license was suspended, after which Dwight was taken into custody.
Dwight’s license suspension came about when he failed to appear in court for a previous unresolved matter. He has a court date set for February.

On last night’s Real Housewives of Atlanta the ladies don’t disappoint. Cynthia Bailey opens her modeling agency, while Kandi Burruss consults with a country star. Sheree Whitfield and Phaedra Parks part ways professionally and Kim Zolciak is movin’ on up, Jefferson’s style. Nene Leakes also makes an appearance.
The episode begins as Sheree comes to Phaedra’s office to discuss her child support case. Phaedra feels that the hearing went very well, while Sheree is concerned that her case is flailing. Phaedra tries to explain the law to her client and defends her representation to a doubtful Sheree. Sheree thinks that the pair was blindsided in court, and they squabble about when the retainer was paid. Phaedra doesn’t want this case to come between her and her friend, so the ladies decide to end their business relationship with Phaedra referring Sheree to a different attorney. The duo part ways amicably (for now), with Sheree wishing her two-day lawyer had accomplished more and Phaedra wondering what kind of service her friend expects after hiring her twenty-four hours (give or take) in advance. WWJJD? (Judge Judy…in case you were wondering!)

Sheree Whitfield‘s custody case is the hot story to keep her relevant this season on Real Housewives of Atlanta. Sheree is accusing her ex-husband, retired NFL player Bob Whitfield (a.k.a. Head Butt Bob), of refusing to pay child support and owing hundreds of thousands in back child support over four years. Many have found it odd that Bob would allow his deadbeat dad behavior to be flaunted on national television and, as is always the case, there seems to be much, much more to the story than meets the eye!
On the surface Sheree’s case seems cut and dry so her attorney, friend and co-star Phaedra Parks opted to take on the case pro-bono. When Phaedra suggested Sheree simply alert the authorities to Bob’s negligence, Sheree looked squeamish and immediately vetoed that idea, leaving many — including her attorney — perplexed. Sheree claimed she would not feel right putting the father of her children in jail. But is that really the reason she didn’t want Bob to hear that “clank-clank”?
Interestingly, last episode Phaedra decided to charge Sheree a $5000 retainer fee, claiming that her case became more challenging which would necessitate a lot more work on her part. Also interesting, Bob filed a motion against Sheree placing her in contempt for allegedly stealing furniture that was granted to him in the divorce decree. And that is just the tippity, tip, tip of the iceberg!
There has looong been the rumor that Sheree basically stripped the mansion she and Bob resided in during their marriage of all it’s fixtures after Bob allowed it to fall into foreclosure and Sheree plus children were evicted. Tamara Tattles gave an in-depth report of the situation on her blog which, is the first red flag in the complicated case of Sheree Whitfield vs. Bob Whitfield and the mystery of the child support case.
First, in an odd sequence of information that doesn’t add up, StraightFromTheA discovered that Phaedra is no longer representing Sheree according to the Fulton County Court Modification documents. Was it because she couldn’t afford her rates? The defendant’s lawyer is clearly listed as Joy Nicol Hanyard. The real question is did Phaedra ever represent Sheree or was that added for dramatic purposes? Tamara Tattles has already alerted us that the presiding judge seen on last week’s episode of RHOA is not the actual judge whose courtroom was featured (nor the judge listed on this document). A copy of that document is below.
StraightFromTheA, an Atlanta blog known for getting the scoop, did more digging and found that the case between Sheree and Bob is absolutely 100% real and not created for RHOA — however the case that we are seeing played out on TV is very different than the behind the scenes situation. Apparently Bob is tired of being depicted as the miscreant father and first-rate a-hole. Speaking to the blog he is giving his side of the story!
Calling the situation a “hot mess”; he also takes issue with Phaedra claiming he looked a “hot mess” in court (is that the adjective of the week?)! Bob claims that ugly wrinkled shirt he wore in the court scene was actually a $300 Robert Graham shirt and he was not trying to look like a “hobo” but it was too hot for a suit and his iron was “so raggedy.” Yes, this man went to Stanford.
Bob also admits that sticking out his tongue makes him look like such a “smug bastard” and he also admits that he does, in fact, “know people” at the court as Sheree said. As for Sheree, Bob reveals, she doesn’t know “when the truth starts and when the lie begins.” He also comments on Chateau Thelma Sheree, wondering why she has that “mound of dirt.” The conversation is a little difficult to decipher, but if you don’t mind Bob’s filthy mouth, it’s worth a listen!
So what is the truth behind all the acrimony and the reason why Bob is refusing to pay his ex-wife court-ordered child support? According to MediaTakeOut, Sheree actually owes Bob a butt load of dollars! After sifting through some court documents, here’s what they discovered: “When Sheree and Bob got divorced, the court ordered them to SELL the house, split the proceeds. And for Bob to give Sheree $425K in additional cash. Bob would pay her $25K up front, and the other $400K once they sold the house. Well Sheree TRICKED Bob, and asked him if he could give her the $400K early, so that she could get a home for their children.”
“And after Bob gave her the money, Sheree filed MULTIPLE lawsuits, and refused to leave the house or pay the mortgage. Eventually the bank foreclosed on the house, and Bob lost ALL the equity he had in the home.” Bob took Sheree to court over the matter and Sheree was “admonished,” yet not charge according to the court documents. Perhaps this is why she lost all of her appeals for spousal support? Sheree never paid Bob back for the money lost as a result of her refusal to honor the agreement. And that clears up why the house fell into foreclosure.
Essentially if Sheree attempts to take Bob to court for the lost child support, he can counter-sue for all the money he is owed. A copy of the court documents obtained by MediaTakeOut are below. Also, below is a photo of the home which Sheree was shown living in on the first and second season of RHOA.
Perhaps this is the real reason Sheree is not getting child support! Sheree has not commented on the reality of her situation on Twitter or her Bravo Blog!
THOUGHTS ON THE DETAILS REGARDING SHEREE’S LEGAL SITUATION? IS BOB RIGHT TO REFUSE TO PAY CHILD SUPPORT IN LIGHT OF ALL THE MONEY SHE ALLEGEDLY OWES HIM?
