Our favorite reality TV stars cannot get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to social media to share even more of their daily lives with us. And we love them for it! Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite family photos from the past few weeks.
2014 was a year for law breaking, court cases, tax issues, and bankruptcies from our favorite reality TV stars.
Below, we’ll update you on who owes what, whose divorce is a mess, who is suing, who is being sued, and who’s going to prison! In addition to adding several new cases to the rosters of law-dabbling reality stars, some stars continued to battle existing cases – such as Jacqueline Laurita‘s and Sonja Morgan‘s bankruptcies.
Meanwhile other stars finally resolved long-standing issues. Undoubtedly the biggest legal drama of the year was Teresa Giudice finally facing a judge and being sentenced to 15 months in prison after pleading guilty to 4 counts of fraud, which all began way back in 2009 when the Real Housewives Of New Jersey star filed for bankruptcy for an incredible $13 million dollars of debt!
Amber recently dished about the possibility of a hiatus — shocker… she hates the idea – and her current thoughts on her co-stars.
Amber said her life is back to normal, which means free of drama, since filming ceased. “Normally there’s no drama in my life,” said the aspiring actress who is married to drama queen Jim Marchese. <side eye> “I’m a very focused mom and a very focused wife … that is where I’m happiest. I’m a homebody. I love being home with my children and honestly that’s my favorite job in the world.”
Aaahhhh… One major holiday down, only Christmas and Hanukkah to go! Which got me thinking … what should our favorite reality TV stars be hoping to receive this year, besides coal of course?!
It’s been a year of ups and downs, and some surprising turn arounds (Ms. Kenya Moore‘s twirl of redemption, anyone?!) for our favorite reality stars. Some of them have been very good: Ho, Ho, HO! and for that they deserve a little love, but some of them deserve only coal. Below is our roundup of reality TV stars Christmas lists. Let’s hope some of them get their wishes!
After serving her 15 month prison sentence, Teresa said she does not feel she’ll come back to RHONJ – instead opting for greener reality TV pastures. After 6 seasons, most of them showcasing how absolutely nuts she is, Teresa admitted to a love-hate relationship with the show. It made her a household name and gave her plenty of opportunities, but also, in a sense, caused her family to implode, destroyed friendships, and to hear her tell it – may inadvertently be responsible for her legal troubles. I mean, it’s not like Teresa is responsible for her actions. DUH

Saying that participating in reality TV “very stressful” Jacqueline says she chose to have a less involved role this season – one that was originally supposed to involve her confronting her estranged sister-in-law Dina Manzo, so I’m not sure how that could construe a less stressful situation.
“I agreed to do it part-time. It’s been positive being away from the craziness of the show,” Jacqueline explains. I find this statement interesting because a large part of the craziness and vitriol of the show has directly revolved around Jacqueline – from Day 1. Too bad Jacqueline can’t take a break from her alternate reality.
I personally have been digging into this story, since we’ve been hearing so many conflicting reports, and the Signature Apparel Bankruptcy fraud case involving Jacqueline, Chris Laurita, and his brother, Joseph is raging on – no matter how much Jacqueline wants to pretend it’s over and done with!
The Lauritas, the former owners of Signature Apparel, LLC, are accused of misappropriating company funds, to the tune of $8 million, for personal use – including vacations, cars, private jets, homes, and shopping – but then filed bankruptcy in 2009 to avoid paying back debts. At that time Signature Apparel was also boasting millions in revenue. Creditors protested the bankruptcy to the trustee, who after investigation, then filed a claim against the Lauritas, resulting in years of court back and forth for the Real Housewives Of New Jersey stars.
