As you know, Phaedra, reality starlet, quotable wordsmith, lover of pickles, and attorney extraordinaire, did not take kindly to Vibe.com financially backing Angela Stanton’s tome of slander “Lies of a Real Housewife: Tell the Truth and Shame the Devil,” and she recently filed a multi-million dollar lawsuit against the site’s parent company. Now it appears that her mother, Pastor Regina Bell, is following suit…literally!
Yesterday, Mrs. Kim Zolciak-Biermann had a long day of communicating with TMZ. First a source close to her told the gossip site that she was certainly NOT being evicted as previously reported. And although Kim told everyone at the Real Housewives of Atlanta reunion that she was “closing” on her “dream house,” she and hubby Kroy Biermann have since changed their mind, citing the $3M listing price was over-valued by a million dollars.
Kim also said her landlord/interior decorator, the formidable Kendra Davis, threatened to evict her after she walked away from the purchase deal and then Kendra started bad-mouthing her on Twitter. This was after Kim started badmouthing her on Don’t Be Tardy For The Wedding (and Twitter) of course!
Now there have been many rumors about Kim‘s attempt to purchase said mansion – namely that she and Kroy couldn’t get approved for the $2.5M mortgage required to buy the property. Of course we don’t have access to Kim’s bank account, so we have no idea if that’s true, but that’s the tea that was spilled.
Evelyn Lozada keeps managing to expand her brand, despite backlash from viewers of Basketball Wives. However, Evelyn doesn’t seem to care what people think of her. She tells VIBE (yes, she’s a guest editor this month), that if she’s learned anything from fiance Chad Ochocinco, it’s that controversy is a good thing. Of course it is! Highlights of her interview are below, but you can read the whole thing here.
How do you develop a tough skin for [naysayers]?
You can’t do this and be sensitive. For example, you know Suzie [Ketcham], she gets a lot of sh*t from the show. After she films the show, she doesn’t watch it or go on Twitter. She’s like, ‘I don’t know how you deal with it.’ I’ve accepted that this is a part of my life and apart of my world now. The more the show became popular, and I started dating Chad, and I got engaged to Chad, it’s been like chaos.
I’m never going to hide and I’m always one of those people that say TV can be a gift and a curse, and at the same time it’s opened up a lot of doors for me that I never would have imagined. I can look at [the show] and say, Maybe I shouldn’t have handled it like that. Maybe I shouldn’t have thrown that bottle at Kenya [Bell], you know what I mean? If I’m blessed to be on TV for another five seasons, you won’t see Evelyn doing that. I’ve learned from that situation. Me and Tami [Roman] do get a lot of heat because we are straight forward and in your face and controversial. It’s not always positive, but I know we can look back and say, ‘You know what, b*tch, that wasn’t cool.’
While she may have been ousted from Real Housewives of Atlanta, Sheree Whitfield remains as delightfully delusional as ever, telling S2S Magazine that any new cast members added for the show’s fifth season will be mere additions, not replacements. See, there is only one Sheree!
“No one can replace me. I can’t be replaced.” Well, that’s true. Who else would be able to produce something like She By She Broke, our Mary’s favorite fashion line? To those who say she cried and asked for her job back, Sheree says “as if”. You see my character. I’m not even that girl.”
Our favorite reality TV stars can’t get enough of the spotlight during their regularly scheduled time slots, so they take to Twitter to share even more with us. And we love them for it! Here’s a roundup of some of our favorite photos from the Twitterverse this week! Enjoy!

Call in Judge Judy. Better yet, call in Extreme Akim! There is a law suit getting ready to unfold in Atlanta, y’all, and this time Phaedra Parks isn’t going to be the attorney…she’s the plaintiff! After the publication of Angela Stanton’s tome Lies of a Real Housewife: Tell the Truth and Shame the Devil by Vibe.com, the Real Housewives of Atlanta star is suing Vibe Holdings in federal court for libel and defamation of character.
You all recall that in the book, Angela touts Phaedra and now husband Apollo Nida as living a life of crime, guilty of theft, racketeering, and forgery. She alleges the couple wooed her into their inner circle of criminals, and left her out to dry when she was arrested.
TMZ reports that the Roswell Fire Department got a call around 9:35am yesterday morning to send a truck to the scene where a four-wheeler was burning. The fire department was able to extinguish the fire and no one was hurt.
I would make a joke about white trash and four-wheelers catching on fire, because I’m from WV and can do things like that – but house fires are serious. Let’s just say: good thing no one was injured and the house didn’t end up in flames.
Kim tweeted her appreciation, “Shout out to Roswell Fire Dept for their quick response this morning God is always on my side! #grateful!” We’re grateful too.
Reality stars never cease to amaze me. Namely, one Evelyn Lozada, but that’s neither here nor there. Vibe recently interviewed Evelyn of Basketball Wives, alongside Tamar Braxton of Braxton Family Values, Kandi Burrus of RHOA, and Chrissy Lampkin, formerly of Love & Hip Hop fame. The interview addresses the violence and drama fueled fights often highlighted on these shows, and the women, one in particular, seems to like laughing all the way to the bank. I was, however, extremely impressed to see Chrissy take responsibility for her temper. It’s a long interview, so I’m just sharing my favorite highlights. You can read the whole discussion here, and try not to laugh when Tamar says Evelyn is beautiful “inside and out.” Enjoy excerpts from that interview below!
