Luann de Lesseps Doesn’t Regret Excluding The RHONY Cast From Her Wedding

I don’t know if I can handle another Real Housewives of New York season that revolves around Luann de Lesseps’s relationship with Tom D’Agostino. Nevertheless, there is nothing anyone can do or say to pop Luann‘s bubble of romantic bliss. So we might as well just let her live.

Luann is still in the honeymoon stage when it comes to this relationship. She’s so happy these days that she didn’t even have it in her heart to shade anyone during her appearance on Watch What Happens Live. I’m sure Andy Cohen was a little disappointed by that.

Luann has made it very clear that whoever is not on board with her new relationship is not welcome in her life. That’s why she excluded most of the cast from her wedding. The only one she included was Dorinda Medley, but she basically had to do that since Dorinda’s the one who introduced Luann to Tom. But then again, who wouldn’t want to turn up with Dorinda at a wedding? I would invite her to mine too – not that I even know her or have anyone to marry.

Did Luann have any regrets about excluding her costars? She admitted, “Not for one minute. I had the most beautiful, amazing wedding. I didn’t want any drama. I just wanted people that love me and support me and were happy for me all around me. ”

But anyway, she did invite RHONY alums Jill Zarin and Kelly Bensimon to her wedding. Jill must have been overjoyed. She’s been thirsting for a chance to be re-associated with this show for years. She couldn’t post those pics from Luann’s wedding fast enough. Luann said she took the most selfies at the wedding too. Andy wasn’t shocked by that revelation since he said, “I figured.”

Aside from the New York ladies, Luann invited Cynthia Bailey, which seemed kind of random to me, but maybe I just missed something? She also invited the ever-present friend of the Housewives (and short-lived Housewife) Marysol Patton. Out of all the Housewives in attendance, Luann revealed that it was a “toss-up” between Marysol and Dorinda for who got the drunkest at the wedding. No one was surprised by that.

I expected Luann to talk shit about Bethenny Frankel the whole episode, but she took the high road this time. She even revealed, “Bethenny and I are a lot closer than we had been this season. This season in particular, we’ve gotten through a moment and we are a lot friendlier.”

It didn’t seem that way just a week ago when Luann and Bethenny were insulting each other in interviews, but friendships are constantly shifting in this franchise. Luann even said that she didn’t think Bethenny was copying her hair anymore. Groundbreaking progress for these two.

One person that seemed to be on anything but good terms with Luann was Ramona Singer, who was watching the episode and tweeting her thoughts. She asked, “How come your handle in twitter is still #countess your not a #countess anymore.” All Luann had to say was, “That’s so Ramona.” Accurate.

After guest Bridget Everett mentioned that they were just talking about Ramona’s big heart during the commercial break, Ramona fired back with another tweet: “I do have a heart. That has nothing to do with her using ‘countess.’ #heart.” One thing is clear – Ramona definitely runs all of her own social media accounts. From the lack of grammar to the poorly placed hash tags, those tweets were a mess and a half.
